    Great

I looked for over a month to find the perfect platform bed. I wanted all wood and sturdy and visually pleasing. This bed hits all the marks. It was easy to assemble, I did it by myself, 27 year old female. I did need help getting it inside as the box is very heavy. Ill let you know how sturdy it is after a few months of use, so far, 5 stars.

    Buy this base !

Love the wood and the stain ! Very sturdy except the slats across could be a little stronger but itll do ! Everything else is the heavy wood construction ! I am very pleased with this purchase , looks very high quality

    Very sturdy bed frame

I searched online for the most sturdy, and most quiet, bed frame and this is what people were recommending. Ive had this bed frame for 6 months now and it has lived up to the test. It is quiet during rigorous activity and has been the best bed frame Ive owned so far. (Way better than any metal ones). The internet told me to go with a solid wood bed frame and this seems to work well! Plenty of room to store things underneath. Occasionally the mattress will slide a bit as there is nothing but some sticky strips to hold it down, but it has not been an issue of any significance.

    Good Product

Really like this bed frame. Easy to assemble and slats have a ribbon of velcro that makes for easy installation spacing is established without using a tape rule for layout. Sturdy with a clear finish wood look. Recommend it! Great product by all standards

Feels sturdy and its a very easy build

The wood feels incredibly sturdy and it only took me 30 minutes to build once all pieces were out and ready to go. I love the quality and weight of the wood. The color is beautiful and wood looks to be treated with a stain, but is not overly shiny which I prefer. so far, Im happy with this product and price point. Perfect for my needs

Pleasantly surprised! Good prices, sturdy, all wood except screws!

Ive had this bed for a few months and pleasantly surprised with its sturdiness, low price, and being all wood except for screws. Its very hard to find an all wood bed (most have a metal leg/plank on the bottom) with spending much more money. Highly recommend.

Surprisingly well-built, solidly engineered, easy assembly

As youve likely noticed, there are scores of inexpensive beds on . Since no one wants to return something that large, choosing a quality product feels like a gamble. I rolled the dice on this bed, and was very pleasantly surprised by the outcome. We bought this $200 bed for our teenage son, and it feels as well-made as our $1500 bed, The solid-wood boards, the screw receptacles in the boards, the hardware -- all feel solid and well-engineered. The instructions are simple, and although it takes a good hour to put it together, there is no ambiguity; everything is well-labeled and fits with clean tolerances. There are nice touches, too: velcro to hold the slats, precision-cut joints, and a sticky surface on two of the slats to help hold the mattress in place. I can offer a couple of assembly tips: (1) As others have noted, dont fully tighten all the screws until youre ready to mount the slats (this will help you true the bed to square, and (2) If you have trouble mating the screws to the four corner feet, try slightly adjusting the angle of the foot until you can start to hand-thread each screw. The only minor shortcoming was the platform slats themselves -- they are softwood of some kind (good, because they flex appropriately with the mattress movements), but they are finished roughly, and I found several slivers on the edges. Budget an extra 15 minutes to sand down the slats, and if your experience is like mine, youll end up with a lovely platform bed. Hats off to the company for a great design and a high-quality, high-value product.

Sturdy, Nice Looking, and Easy to Assemble

I was looking for a platform bed that is sturdy and fairly simple. After a couple months of research, Im very pleased with my choice. I love the espresso finish. Even though it looks black in some of the photos, its actually a deep brown color with a smooth finish (see photo). A big selling point for me was that the middle support and all legs are solid wood. Some products feature a metal support in the center that doesnt seem as sturdy. There is no noticeable noise at all from the bed when moving around. My sheets even stay tucked in, which was a concern I had since Ive never used anything but a box-spring before. I do notice that the mattress feels slightly softer on this platform bed than it did when I was using a box spring. Thats probably because the slats are slightly softer than the rigid top on a box-spring. Im thrilled with the amount of storage space under this bed. I was able to fit boxes that are 12 high. I wont be able to remove them without removing the slats, but that is fine with me (the height from the floor to bottom of the frame is 10). Since the slats are installed using velcro only, it will be easy to remove them if necessary. Like some other reviewers noted, it does take some getting used to the support leg in the middle. Although Im happy to have the extra support, I do stub my toe on it occasionally. Overall, this is one of the sturdiest wood platform beds I was able to find at this price point. Im very pleased with it and wouldnt hesitate to buy again. Ill update this review if anything changes.
