First make sure you get a heavy duty base, we got one that gets fill up with sand and water and it was not big and or heavy enough to keep this beautiful umbrella I place when a over the normal breeze nock it to the side, we normally don't have much wind going on and when we do I keep my 10 foot umbrella close, but here and there a breeze will come out of the blue, my original umbrella is bolted to the deck, thus one I place on a different area of my back patio and was thinking 50 pounds was enough, it wasn't, we order a 80 pound metal base and is waiting for it to arrive, is more money but is worth it, this umbrella is impressive and big.
Received promptly. When I didn't get the stand with umbrella, I contacted seller and received a prompt response that base is sent separately. Sure enough it was delivered a few hours later. Umbrella provides needed shade. I don't use the lights daily but they will be very pretty for a patio party. Getting the base put together took a bit of effort on my husband's part but we accomplished it.

I ordered this vented umbrella to replace another one of the same size that was not vented. That one flipped over during a windy day and went flying a few feet, taking the table with it. This bent the ribs of the umbrella on one side.
With this umbrella, the wind flows out the vents, making it very stable. I tested it a few days ago when it was windy.. maybe 15 mph. I'll keep better notes on the next windy day.
Very well pleased with the size and construction as well as the fabric…..true to description, the 3 tiered design readily handled substantial winds with the very first use….I couldnt be happier with this purchase
Dont be alarmed like I was the base is included but shipped separately! Have not used it at night yet but seems to be awesome. Love that it has an on and off switch so I can pick to have the light on or off at night.

A piece of crap!!
This item is very pretty, howd er it is not stable. Ours cracked the second time we used it. Its completely broken and we are very disappointed.

Snapped in half-seller made it right
It snapped in half with the first gust of wind. HOWEVER, the seller promptly offered to replace or refund. Excellent customer service!
