This set is perfect for the space but both pieces came badly and noticeably scratched. I do like the soft close feature these have and are just what I needed.
I bought the 54 cabinet in black to use in my kitchen as supplemental storage temporarily.
Assembly Installation: The cabinet wasnt any more physically taxing to put together than other RTA furniture Ive assembled. The only complaints I would have is that 1) The fasteners were thrown haphardly into one bag, so I had to separate it and 2) The instructions seemed to be in a strange order at times. For example: Theres literally no reason to put the doors on before hanging it, as instructed by the manual. Trust me, its heavy enough as it is. Youll want to leave them off until you get it on the wall. Unless youre incredibly strong, youd also want someone to help you lift it. It hangs by French cleat, a method Ive never used before. Ill admit, I dont trust it entirely. Both the hanging bars are MDF, which doesnt exactly have a great track record when it comes to bearing weight. Im using it primarily to store my meal prep containers and Id be hesitant to store anything any heavier. Im noticing most people use these in their laundry room as theyre utility cabinets, but no. I dont think I want to try loading one of these down with giant jugs of bleach and detergent.
Quality: The finish seems thick and durable, as well as the shelves, but theres a major flaw. The holes drilled for the hinges are way off. The far left door is offset and the two other doors overlap each other to the point they rub when I close them. The manual claims you can adjust the hinges in order to fix certain issues you may be having with the doors, but its impossible unless you were to move the hinges position on the shell or doors altogether. Yeah, Im not doing that. Shouldnt have to. I dont think it would be too much to ask that they have been drilled properly. The cabinet was only 118, but precision is important when it comes to RTA furniture. In some cases, inaccuracy can even render a piece completely useless. Lucky for me, theyre still functional. I dont know that I would have taken it apart and went through the hassle of sending it back even if it wasnt usable. Who wants to deal with that.
Overall: Itll do for temporary storage. Im planning a kitchen remodel in the next 2 years (fingers crossed) and itll be coming down anyway. If it lasts until then, it will have done its job for me. Definitely helped me organize some of the clutter I had in my other cabinets and pantry closet. It gets 3 stars from me as an okay cabinet. The okayest that okay can get, I would say.
Its ok. Not to bad to get put together, the hinges were a pain and had to be adjusted some for the doors to close without a gap. Not as study as I would like but its particle board so its only going to be so sturdy. Has a few outside blemishes but I cant do anything about that. Overall a good buy I guess it was cheaper than anything else I was looking for.
I am very happy with this cabinet. I bought it as a pantry for my kitchen in white. It is considerably larger than most of the other pantries I looked at, very sturdy and no dividers in the shelves for lots of storage. Has 5 leveling feet and anti tip hardware. Easy assembly and no sag once filled. It is decent quality particle board with heavy cardboard backing and an attractive finish. There was one small defect in the side panel when it arrived, most likely dinged during packing or shipping, but overall worth the money.
LOVE the color , style, and storage in this cabinet. It was a hard assemble project mainly for the hinges (which are super great auto close hinges). But overall would recommend.
Box and packing were great but still tons of scratches on the finish on almost all of the parts! Its in my garage so its not the end of the world but im not happy.
Pretty easy to install, toughest part was sliding and keeping the cardboard backing in place. Kept sliding out and wasnt able to keep one end in the slots. Would have been a 5 if that wasnt an issue.
