A few things I did extra to make this perfect. Keep in mind you need extra space for cabling power.
1. Use right angle hdmi coaxial adapters
2. I added extra board layer at the mounting points to give me extra space in the center (I have my stereo there). This direct mounts to wall via the 2 side panels
3. I left off the provided power strip to instead use the opening to run all my power cables thru to my protected power strip
Doing these things will make it a win for you
I do love this product. Its a good one, but they failed miserably in the mounting side of it. (Which is kind of the whole point) Looks great, seems like it will last, and it is exactly what I wanted. Minus the fact that its not going to last without extra work. Like everyone says DO NOT mount in the dry wall. Just dont. Youll save yourself so much work. Go get some mounting brackets to put underneath to hold it in place and give it strength, as well as mounting it to studs instead. Love everything about it minus the most important part haha. I still recommend getting it for sure, just gotta do a little extra work! when you finish it feels cheap and not as sturdy as you think.

This was great to add some definition our hugely blank wall. My husband and I put it together fairly quickly. I laid out all of the parts, held the screws in place while he tightened them, and marked the points in the wall where we would screw it in place while my husband held it up. All of the screw locations dont line up with stud, but my husband will just drill an extra hole through to the stud to secure it more. Other than that, its perfect. Very pleased with this purchase

Get your own brackets
The included brackets to hang is not good. Was not sturdy at all. Had to go buy our own brackets and reinstall. Im fairly disappointed.

Nice looking shelf with plenty of storage!
It was a bit tough to hang but I think that may have been an issue with the installer, not the shelf. Well done, great delivery
The shelf wont stay in wall, had to buy some brackets to try and stabilize it.
Sure would like some help or info on how to keep it up. Im trying to love my shelf if it would only stay up. study and arrived as pictured!

I liked the face that it had a power strip attached. I did have to add a couple more holes.
