Used these waders five days in a row in Alaska and worked fine. These are not insulated so my toes got a little cold in the 43 degree water, but I also was not waring insulated sock. I was waring standard work boot socks. Im sure with better socks, toes would have been fine. Looks nice and sturdy.
Considering I was using them to walk through natures barbed wire, I dont even know why to be honest! But they held up, anyways, in actual water they are good, and very sturdy, would reccomend to fly fishermen looking for something to start. thanks great product.
Waders seem to be well made. I needed them to do some work in a farm pone. Not something I will use that often but their there when I need them. Boot size is Ok, a littler hard to get on but not bad. waders waist size and overall length are good. I would recommend them! Also I like the hanger that comes with them to get them out of your way. easy assemble, exactly as expected, space saver.
I havent had a chance to get them in the water yet but looking at them closely the materials and construction seem to be top notch. And the fit is way better than a more expensive pair I previously had from a company that starts with a T. Boot size is way closer to actual shoe size listed in sizing chart. I dont have to stuff padding in the toes to keep my foot from banging around inside the boot like the previous pair. The length and the waist measurements were spot on. Very comfortable fit. Cant wait to get them in the water. If they work in the water as good as they look Ill have to come back and change it to a five star rating. Looks solid, easy to assemble.
I like the light weight uppers. Boots are heavier than my old chest waders so a tradeoff. Will wait on durability. Spent 2 weeks in NC fly fishing and am not totally thrilled with these waders. The seam with boot and pant leg rubs both shin bones to the point of causing a blister. The left shoulder strap kept sliding off shoulder regardless of tightness so was irritating. The overalls section fit fine and the boot lugs did ok on slippery rocks and rough bottom. I may take Gorilla tape and fix the boot to leg seam so it doesnt scratch my leg. Good quality.
This is very heavy and not the most comfortable set. That being said its cheaper than some sets. I lost my fish boots and had to resort to built in shoes which isnt my favorite. It feels so bulky. Its hard to get on and worry if I slip, how hard it will be to take off. I am not happy.
The price and quality on these are better than the other pair of Cabelas waiters I once owned. These are EXACTLY what I need to fish Walleye in high water from shore. I also have now considered using these when magnet fishing. If you are looking for a high quality low budget waiter Id recommend these 5/5 stars. Great!
