Now that it is put together, it is lovely and sturdy and just what we wanted. The color is slightly different than in the picture. In the picture it almost has a purple tinge, and in reality it is a nice antique navy. I was actually relieved. The instructions were fine for assembly but several of the holes for the bolts didnt line up. We were able to assemble it with two people and had to leave out few of the bolts that didnt line up, but its still very sturdy and really attractive. I had seen another very similar chest on another site tin a less attractive color for double the price, even including shipping, so Im very happy with the purchase overall.
I bought this for my hallway. I’m disabled so I hired some furniture delivery guys to come and put it together for me. They said it was a standard assembly that works well for two people, it’s moderately sturdy, and good for what I paid for it. I envisioned it taller and a little bigger than it is but I like it.
Upstairs is all one big room, so have the sofa with table behind it to divide living room from dining room.
Can also use it as a serving table in that configuration.

Very cute, sturdy little table for entryway. Easy to put together. A little more gray than what I was expecting but is very cute and nice finish.
