This was a gift for my son in college. I had it sent directly to him. He was able to put it together in less than a hour. He really likes how it looks and the storage room underneath.
The pictures dont do this bed justice. It looks great in my 8 year old sons room and it is high enough off the ground that he can store things underneath as well. This was his pick and he has really enjoyed it.
I bought 4 of these beds in different sizes and they are wonderful ... easy to assemble ... I am actually amazed at the quality for how little they cost

The directions were tricky but if you ever put a bed together you can figure it out. It is sturdy I bought the twin.
