I decided to buy this for my home classroom as Im homeschooling my kids for second year. I needed a table or desk that would fit all 3 of their chromebooks. After reading the reviews, I decided to try my luck on this desk and Im so glad I did.
My husband was able to drill a hole in the center using a hole saw, and we capped it with a desk grommet. It worked perfectly!
This desk is a lot bigger than I had anticipated and its built pretty well. It took no time at all to put together and it seems very sturdy. The tabletop is also easily able to be wiped clean.
This is exactly wear I was looking for, and you cant beat the price! Im so glad I decided to go with this desk. If youre debating on it, I say go for it. You wont be disappointed.
Im happy with this 47 inch Writing Computer Desk. It is simple, sturdy, and easy to assemble. The frame is black metal with what appears to be a type of laminate-particle board top. It seems well-made overall. I do think it would be nice if there was at least a drawer or two incorporated, but it looks as advertised. It is fairly lightweight as well and easy for me to move around if needed. It is a nice-sized desk (not too large or tiny) and suits my needs well.
Is it a premium, high-end desk? No, but it is still nice. The top is fine and acceptable, but could have looked even nicer with a different material, in my opinion-perhaps a real dark stained wood. I will say that I like the sandalwood color a lot. I have another nearly identical desk that has been holding up well, so I imagine this will too. The current price of $89.99 on sale from $99.99 seems pretty good to me.
Anyway, if you are looking for something simple and sturdy that works and you like the color and design of this, then you might like this a lot. Just remember that the top is just some type of laminated particle board, so that surface is more easily damaged if you arent careful.

This Computer Desk looks nice. It has a simple, modern design. The Sandalwood color looks good, it is made from manufactured melamine board. The desk is It was easy and straightforward to put together. Overall a good looking, simple style desk.
This is a large, sturdy, and heavy desk. We were looking for a desk to add more desktop space and didnt want a whole full desk with drawers rather something that would just elegantly sit on the side of the office.
The first thing I noticed before even opening the box was that this is a hefty desk that comes in at about 45 lbs. The top of the desk it solid and the metal frame is really sturdy.
I like both the style and support of the horizontal supports across the bottom and how they make the desk super solid and ok to move around even when loaded with things on top.
Overall very happy with the Computer Desk, Modern Simple Style Desk for Home Office, Sturdy Writing Desk (55inch, Oak).

Basic But Nice-Sturdy Overall- Laminate Top

Easy to build. There was only six pieces. Took 10 minutes to set up. Sturdier then expected. The corner of the desk?did chip easily.
