So far so good! study and safe. Takes up a lot of space, but thats fine. Took about 5 hrs to set up. Only one board was a tiny bit scuffed up. AWESOME!!
I bought this about 9 months ago for my 7 and 9 year old boys. This set is perfect, easy to put together and sturdy. Ive layed on both beds and I weigh 170lbs and never felt like it wasnt going to hold. The ladder detaches which I love for ease of making the top bunk. The color is also great and matches their other espresso furniture perfectly. The only thing i dont like are the three supporter legs down the center of the full sized bed. Whenever i pull the bed away from the wall to make them, those three legs bend and end up all crooked. I just crawl under the bed and straighten them again, but its kind of annoying.
UPDATE: We have now used this daily for about 3 years and its still in fantastic shape! We no longer use the top rail or the ladder. We have used the beds separately, and now they are back together. I have zero complaints about these bunk beds. They are aming and have been great! Yes, Its great. loves it.
I was surprised by how solid this was built. All pieces came in excellent shape and the instructions for putting it together were clear and easy to follow. Amazing.
Love the quality of the beds, just make sure to inspect it well. A couple pieces were cracked but called the manufacturer and they replaced for free right away with no hassles. Overall we really love it. Amazing product.
Really nice heavy sturdy quality, we ordered the blue looks great. Note the slats are a bit different the top twin bed slats go sideways as opposed to lying flat which in turn doesnt allow the mattress to lay straight, we ended up turning them flat anyway and made it work. The full size bed slats did have the notches that layed flat. We bought 4 gel mattresses (that had great reviews however I wouldnt recommend for bunk beds weird with the slats we ended up buying plywood to put on the slats and under the mattress to provide more support. As described would buy again.
We love this bed. We use the top as a reading/cozy corner and our 3yo sleeps on the bottom. He loves the set/up. My only complaint, which others have also mentioned, is that the wood is incredibly soft. You can dent it with a fingernail, or by, say, knocking 2 pieces of wood together as youre assembling (purely hypothetical example . It also arrived with a few pieces of blue wood splintering. Not very badly, but enough that I needed to glue it back together to avoid splinters further bed damage. But for the price were still very happy. Works well.

Perfect size! Solid. My husband and I put it together without any problems in 2 hours. Granddaughter loves it! Very durable.
