Beautiful!! If youre never put a bunk bed together before be prepared these things do take some time. There are a lot of pieces but in this case everything fits together well theres no misaligned holes or missing pieces, they even include the needed allen wrench. Overall, Im really impressed with the design. I wish our other set of bunk beds had a ladder that was built into the top bunk instead of extending out since it saves so much room and is much more secure this way. Theres a lot of great room in this bunk bed which would make it ideal for a guest room or the kids who share a room. Were really pleased with it.
You should buy. 3.5 stars. Love the simple design. But it took forever to build. Another thing I am not satisfied with are the circular steps for the ladder. It hurts using bare feet to get to the top bunk. Its fine for my 40/pound 5/year/old but my older child refuses to go on top because of the pain. Flat steps would be ideal. I chose this bunk bed because I like that the ladder is connected to the bottom bunk and doesnt rest on the floor.
So many pieces to put together, but the end result is a fantastic bunk bed! Sturdy, neat and the metal doesnt squeak. The plastic pieces were a pain, but everything else was fairly simple. Took me about 2 hours to unbox and put together.
Perfect and Sturdy. Appears to be well made. All parts fit as designed. Typical cheap hardware. Allen wrench (supplied) stripped the Allen wrench during final tightening but the threads did not strip so it didnt compromise the assembly. The design is good EXCEPT round rungs on the ladder are difficult to climb with bare feet. A larger flat step would be much better.
We chose this model because it has a sloped ladder which I think is safer.
Packaging is adequate. One part was scratched in shipping.
Ive been dreaming of this loft bed for so long and was so excited to finally have it. Dont get me wrong, its great but has a few flaws / one huge one being how unsteady and wobbly it is.
Updated reviewI am a petite person and I was able to assemble this alone. My kids love it and so far it can withstand 3 monsters who use it like a jungle gym
