2021: Update. The bed is about same quality as an bed. Many of the bolts are loose from my child moving on the bed, climbing the stairs etc. We are having to tighten them often with a Hex Key / wrench.
2020: The bed is sturdy. Its a beautiful cherry wood. My kid loves the bed. We made a fort underneath for him. Cons: My husband had issues with some of the pieces not lining up right where the screws go in. And the wood was scratched on one of the railings straight from the box.
At first I dreaded to put this bed together because of all the boxes and pieces, but after getting my mindset right, music going, the party began and it wasnt that bad after all. Simple instructions and easy put together, took all day, with breaks but I got it done and great quality. I mean, its solid
Well made just what I was looking for! When delivered it came in 6 boxes. Read the labels on outside of box to tell you whats inside of them and for finding the instructions. We literally put all the pieces down the hall wall/room in numerical order. Unboxing and organizing took awhile (around 3 hours) but we did this to make sure we had all the parts. Then the assembly began. We slowly put it together and still have to assemble the trundle. For the stairs, you have the options of installing them on either side of bunk beds! Nice feature! Also, the side of stairs is open due little cubbies/ storage. The stairs have drawers inside for even more storage. Structure is sturdy and quality is great! Overall, we love it, the only downside is the amount of time it takes to install so give yourself plenty of time!
This item was correct. I knew I was going to like this product for the sole reason that they labeled which box had the instructions and hardware. The directions were simple to follow and the bed is STURDY! Took about 5 hours with two people to assemble but we really took our time. So happy with this purchase and would recommend this bunk bed to anyone!
Works well. This bed is great. Ive put together a lot of furniture and this thing is well made with clear instructions and good design. Once together its solid. That being said it took ALL DAY LONG to put together. And into the night. Its a LOT of parts and boxes. Give your room and time.

This is really easy to assemble and pretty sturdy. My kids are over the moon with their new bed. We have had the bed for over a month and we are still happy with it. The stair are a nice touch because it offer so much storage. It was a nice surprise. It does take a little time to put together but the instructions were easy to follow for the most part. The steps were the most difficult to assemble. This was a great buy, I would definitely recommend.
Sturdy. This bed is aming! I bought it for my two daughters but my son loves it too, so hes been sleeping on the trundle since we got it! It took a full day to assemble with 2 people but the instructions were very helpful.
Worth it!!! This bed was not difficult to put together, but was definitely a chge for a 60 something grandma and her daughter, but only because of the sturdiness of the wood. The directions were easy to follow. All parts and pieces labeled well. No missing parts. There is no particle board, it is all solid wood!!!! Would certainly recommend. This solves the where are four grandchildren going to sleep problem. And I am able to store most all of their books and toys on the shelves and in the drawers. It is large, so make sure you have room for it!

Great Bed / prepare yourself for the build
