Lots of space. I ordered two of these in back 2 years ago for my boys room and girls room. The ladder lasted about a year in the boys room. My son who took the top bunk is small but rough. Im pretty sure he wore them out. But he managed to get to the top every night with out it and the rails never failed me. Now I just recently separated into two beds and Im using it for my 23 month old to transition into his own bed. Its perfect. The ladder for the girls bed is still there but missing one step. Not sure if thats due to her or the structure but hey the bed is still quite functional.
Their dad did have quite the time putting these together. Once he figured out one he knew how to do the other but the directions were t that great. Anyways Im glad I ordered these. Were just past the two year mark and they lasted my 9 and 12 year old pretty well and now my toddlers are using them as singles. My 10 year old daughter is still using hers as well. My kids on the top bunk are average size. The bed did shake a little but nothing too concerning and my boys are a little rough. I will say two years ago the price was way lower too.
Buy It. Good bed for the price. Easy to assemble if you dont get the desk. If you get the desk, it doesnt fit and you have to redrill the mounting holes due to a design flaw.
Yes please! So like, I have no money. And I have a small apartment. So I pretty much needed a cheap loft bed, which, this obviously is. Cheap, and a lofted bed. And I did have fears. And yes, this bed is a little scary. And thats coming from someone who weighs 120 lbs.
Highly dont recommend this bed for individuals who weigh much more than that. Which, like, is most people that arent children.
The entire thing wobbles and its very light. It slides across the floor when I put my foot on the ladder, and the wobbling is horrifying. I KNOW its not going to topple over because PHYSICS. And I check the screws all the time and everything is TIGHT. BUT THAT BEING SAID, IT IS HORRIFYING TO CLIMB IN AND OUT OF BED, AND EVEN ROLLING OVER OR SITTING UP MAKES IT WIGGLE AND JIGGLE LIKE JELLO.
it serves the purpose, it gives me more space in my apartment and a place to sleep. But, I do get sleep and it hasnt fallen over and I dont expect it to, nor do I expect it to fall apart, and thats all that really matters.
Anchoring it to the wall would definitely be smart, but seeing I cant poke holes into my walls, Im left to wobble all over.
Worked for my use. The ladder rungs hurt feet really bad to walk up. May daughter hates that. We bought pool noodles to put around them but they rip after a few weeks. The bed is fine, but that one feature makes it less than great.

Good Cheap Bed
But it still works great. Directions are fairly straight forward, but expect to spend some time assembling.
Well made
Could be little cheaper. Will recommend
Surprisingly strong

Daughter is happy with choice
Needs. Perfect fit for the room
Great bed without the desk, good bed with it

Not as sturdy as I thought.
Fits. This was for my son under 100 lbs, not as sturdy as I would have liked for being in the air. Had no problems, just be gentle.
Hey, its a cheap bed

Ladder no good.

Just ok
Very helpful. The bed looks good. But it sure is wobbly.
Fairly good value and space saver
Very compact. A little unsturdy and needs just a bit higher top railing but lots of space under the bed and really helps save space.
