We love this bed. After about a year a use it isnt wobbly or creaky. My son has his Lego table under there, which at 6 he is almost too tall to sit in a small child chair while under the bed, but its perfect for a beanbag chair or fluffy rug.
It seems cheaply made. Its not as high As I expected it to be. I guess I didnt read all the item specs. I imagined we would be able to put my kids desk under the bed, but there its even close to enough room. Id recommend something else based on the ladder alone. The rungs of the ladder hurt my kids feet (mine, too. They are not at all ergonomic.
Some of the parts did not fit with the bed. I read where others were having similar problems, but most were able to get around it. However, I was not. The T bars, which are the small bars at the bottom connected to the legs, did NOT fit. The holes didnt line up. I tried a ton of different arrangements, but nothing worked. The holes for the T bars were about an inch apart more than the leg holes. Without drilling new holes, it would have been impossible to install correctly. The instructions that come with the bed instruct the purchaser to call the company ( if they have any issues with the bed, instead of returning. So I tried calling several times. However, I was never able to get through. I sat on hold each time I called, then after awhile the system just makes you leave a message. Which I did. But the company never returned my call. So I returned it. Since this is how they choose to run their company (defective merchandise and poor customer support then I will make sure to avoid their products going forward.
Those ladder rungs will hurt your feet! We used cut pool noodles duct taped them on each rung to make the rungs less painful to walk on. My son eventually wore the pool noodles down.. in less than a year.
We got an excellent price for this loft bed for our son! Easy to put together, but takes some time. Lots of storage space underneath the bed, or play room!
Sturdy metal bed that was easy to put together. Weve had the bed 4 months now with a rough and tumble 7-year old climbing on it, jumping off of it, pulling on it, attaching things to it, playing under it, and sleeping in it, and it is still sturdy -- no squeaks, no sway. Very impressed with this extremely affordable loft bed!
Weve had the bed assembled for almost 4 months now. While the bed is relatively easy to set up and looks good (aside from the huge chip that was missing when removing from box, after some use it certainly doesnt feel as sturdy as I would like. Ive gone through and tightened the bolts almost weekly since assembly. The bed is rather squeaky and wobbly, even against the wall. We purchased for our almost 6 year old son since he didnt want a high bunk bed, but wanted the floor space to play. The kids dont get to climb all over or play on the bed; it is purely used for sleeping. I highly doubt this bed will last a year, which feels like a total waste of my money. Honestly, if youre looking for a bed youll be replacing in a short while, go for it. If you want something quality, look elsewhere. While the bed is a nice height and lets the floor space be useful, its not really worth it.
Good product. Very sturdy. My 9 and 11 year-old kids love it. There is plenty of space underneath, and they enjoy hanging out there. Definitely recommend getting some soft foam wraps for the ladder rungs....you can find them pretty cheap at your local hardware store. Yes, the runs will hurt your feet without them.
Saved alot of space in my sons small room.he can put all his stuff under the bed. If you have a large room buy quality wooden one.we looked every where, but wooden bed are all big and mostly bunk not loft. this bed worked very well for our small room perfectly.

Not high enough; painful ladder.

Defective Bed, Terrible Customer Support

Good quality, just the height I was looking for
The only difficulty I had putting this together is that I did it by myself. Good quality, just the height I was looking for.
Sturdy enough for a rough and tumble 7-year old!
