Bought for my grandkids and sent to my daughter so I cant really tell how well it is working. She did say it took a couple hours to put together but havent heard any more.
Well.. I got this for my very small seven year old and her three year old sister. I pretty much put most of it together myself.. Mother in law helped towards the end and confirmed my confusion. If you do purchase it just check all parts before you even put it together. There is this one rail that is different from all the others and I had an issue with it. Ill post a pic to show what I mean. Also the slats.. make sure they are centered so you actually can put the screw through both sides. May seem like a Well, Duh thing buuut.. You know.. The bed is for smaller kids. Not something they can grow with very well.. Unless you want to use them as regular beds. Cant think of anything else I had an issue with.
Very happy with this purchase. This is a good quality bunk bed. Husband put it together hes pretty handy and didnt have a lot of trouble. Love the color
GREAT bed, very easy to assemble, and I did it alone. Very good quality wood. Way more than I expected it to be for the price I paid. I am extremely satisfied with this purchase. I am actually looking to replace my sons bunk beds next and will DEFINTELY be purchasing another set from this company, just not pink lol. I highly recommend this product to anyone who is looking for bunk beds.
My two children are loving the bunk bed. The ladder works well and even supports all 230 lbs of me as I climbed up just to test it. The building instructions were a little tough at times. They were unclear on which screws were which, but after some time, I was able to figure it out. This is the reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5. Otherwise, it all works fine. The space under the bed is also great for a little storage. The picture shown is slightly misleading, but still offers space.
Make sure you have at least a couple hours to put this all together. All in all, a good product for the price. I recommend this bed, especially for those who want a cheaper option but decent quality.
There isnt a lot to say about this. The bed is of good quality. The only thing I dont like about it is the way the top and bottom beds join together. The top sits on the bottom with only 4 steel dowels to keep them from sliding apart. To me this isnt all that safe... however the solution is flat iron brackets, a little white paint and some wood screws to make attachment brackets. I am not dinging the bed on this as I realize its just my own views on it and the beds are probably good like they sit.
Assembly for them isnt all that hard... however it does take some time... I also supplemented some wood glue on the guide pegs for added support.
Looks good, sturdy, fairly easy to put together, I needed some space to spread out. I wish parts and screws were a little better labeled. It really reminded me of putting a crib together.
The height is great for the 4 6 year olds, the guardrails on top are high enough for a good quality mattress and still able to keep the kiddos safe.
Im giving 4 stars simply because the instructions are terrible. None of the parts come labeled and unfortunately, several pieces have specific places they need to be placed in order to build the bed to standard. For instance, out of the 4 bed rails, one has a slightly different drilled hole patter which is for the ladder. Unfortunately for me, I had to take both beds apart after putting them together because I had the wrong rail on the wrong bed.
Other than that issue, things were fairly simple to put together and the bed, when fully assembled, is very sturdy.
I would recommend using a bunkie board instead of the slats......only because the slats are a pain in the rear to screw every one of them down on each side.
The drilling was off on one of the posts. We had to send pictures of proof. There were missing labels. The drill holes also were so compressed with sawdust that you had to clean them out in order to get the holes to line up. They did send the part, unfortunately it wasnt as quick as I wouldve preferred. Planks to hold the mattress are not sanded down and are very rough.

Great bed... one slight issue that is easily fixed with a trip to the local Home Depot.

Kids love it, few minor assembly issues.
