The couch arrived super quickly! The packaging was sturdy and undamaged. My husband and I assembled it in about 45 minutes despite the supervision from our dogs. They love this couch too by the way. I chose velvet because the dogs like to scratch into fabric when they are getting ready to sleep. This fabric is great because they dont get their claws stuck in it. Their fur comes right off of the soft fabric with use of a lint brush.
One comment on assembly: One of the reviewers mentioned the arms were loose after she put them on. I think she may have had better luck tightening the arms with a socket wrench due to the tight spot for the top bolt. We just did it by hand but my husband has strong hands so the arms on couch are tight.
This is definitely a really excellent couch for the money. It is firm and comfy. Love it. Whole family loves it.
This futon seems to be very study. The legs have a good weight to them to support the futon. Im 58 and can stretch out on it comfortably. I love the color it is as pictured online. It is firm so just be awear if you are looking for sofa to sink intothis isnt that . But I love it its good to just kick back watch TV and have conversation. Ive only had it together for a day so not sure about the long term use. As for today Im happy Also putting this together can be done alone as I did but I suggest two people. Even if u manage to get it together also u may need help sitting it upright which would require lifting at both ends.

Im about 510, and I fit from one end of the cushion to the other! I was able to nap on it comfortably with the sleeper part down! Has a little of a break/in period, but theres no signs of it falling apart or anything! I love this couch! Color is slight off but the previous reviews helped to clarify colors!

Cushion doesnt slide off since it is all one piece.
Comes in a decent size box and it dies show what it inside so beware. After a small bit of assembly it is ready to go. This is a great addition to anyone that wants some extra room for guests but doesnt want a pull out couch or have a spare bedroom .

Its a miracle that this thing arrived without damage. The UPS guy literally rolled the box end over end up our sidewalk and the box was full of holes. Not the vendors fault but be prepared.
They do a good job of packing all the parts in the box and the instructions are pretty straightforward. It took me about 30 minutes to get it together once I got everything laid out. All the tools you need to put it together are in there. Big shout out to the manufacturer for not using styrofoam in the packing. I hate that stuff.
The couch is big enough for a 6 adult to lay down comfortably. The backrest kind of ratchets into place which I had some difficulty with at first. Somehow I managed to get them locking upright but was never able to really figure out what the trick is.
The cushions are very very firm. They give for a few inches and then there is a hard end feel. Not sure how this will work out long term. The fabric is soft and overall nice. The couch is light enough for one person to move it around by themselves.
This is a pretty nice futon, and comes in a pretty compact package for the assembled size. Its honestly pretty ingenious how they packed the sides in underneath the bottom of the main cushions, and how they folded the entire futon in half with hinges to get it to ship in a smaller box.
Assembly was okay kind of like putting furniture together, only with worse instructions. The ingeniously hidden pieces mentioned above were apparently not in the manual so there was a loose piece of paper showing how to get to them. That took us a few minutes to figure out. Overall, assembly wasnt too difficult, but did take a little time.
Once put together I noticed that there was a place where the suede had rubbed off right on one of the corners. Thinking back, this had to be due to shipping because the corrugated shipping box was completely mangled and retaped back together by the time it arrived. If I didnt get this unit for review, Id definitely try to get it replaced due to the shipping. There was no padding in the corrugated box, but the futon was wrapped in a thin black fabric inside the corrugated box. It was not enough to protect it on its journey, unfortunately.
It looks nice, but the color is much lighter than the one photo I could see of the grey unit. Its much lighter than I expected it to be. It doesnt look bad, but the product photo made it look like a deeper, richer grey than it is. Its a lighter shade and a little shiny
Overall, this is a nice, comfortable futon. Havent used it in sleep mode yet, but am sure itll be more comfortable than the cheap futon its replacing. My main gripe is with the packaging and damage in transit, and then nitpicking with the assembly and instructions. If my unit wasnt damaged in transit Id give it a higher review for sure, but I cant fault the shipping company because I think the packaging was poorly designed.
The look and feel of this futon is really great.
Setup is a bit of a pain at times if youre assembling it solo, but the finished product is much nicer than I imagined, even while I was putting it together. This is not to say, however, that assembly is overly complicated. It was about on par with the better end of the self/assembly furniture spectrum.
As a couch, it left me a little wanting. The split back design means that the support gets iffy towards the center of the couch. At the arms, support is fine. As a bed, this futon is as good as any that Ive ever been onand Ive been on a lot, for some reason. I am 6 feet and 1.5 inches tall and weigh about 205 pounds; so, Im not a tiny person, but I feel totally comfortable and supported laying on this when it is folded down into a sleeper. There is little to no room for anyone else when Im laying on it, but it provides plenty of room for one.
Because of the fantastic looks of this futon, I think that a perfect use for it is as an office couch that can be pushed up against a wall to provide ample support for the split back, and a nice pull/out for periodic cat naps, or an extra sleeper for guests.
All in all, I think it is good looking, reasonably functional as a couch, and appropriately functional as a bed. I like it!
The only thing keeping this from being a 5 star product is their method of shipping. This Futon came in a box unassembled / that part is fine / the box was utterly demolished and half of the futon was hanging out on my front porch. I couldnt believe that everything was still included and although the contents were a bit dirty nothing was broken. Once I started messing with the box to get the rest of it off / I realized that the box it was in could barely be called cardboard. So they need to use a sturdier box for shipping.

Assembly should really take 2 people about 30 minutes.
I had only me / and Im very small. I also had a cat and two dogs trying to help they werent helpful. It took me about 2 hours. Much of the 2 hours was finding ways to lean the futon just right so that I could get two pieces aligned properly so that I could assemble them. If there had been another person here they could have just held it.
The actual assembly was (would have been) very simple. Also everything was included so I didnt require any additional tools.
Once assembled this is a very attractive futon that appears to hold up well. Im not a huge person but I can lay across it or sleep on it / however it is very firm. If you arent a fan of firm, this might not be what you are looking for.
This product had no reviews so I was sooo scared to ordered but took my chance anyway. Absolutely LOVE!!! Exactly as described. The color and texture are way prettier in person! The fiction of the sofa bed is perfect. Instructions on point. All pieces in box when arrived. Not one complaint.
Very nice size large enough for adult to sleep on. Very firm unit. Pain in the butt to put together but when assembled very sturdy. Unfortunately box was damaged and thought it only had a few scratches on it. However when I completely opened it and put it together there was a major piece that was damaged and broken during delivery. I guess now I am stuck with it broken that way. If you receive unit and box is damaged in any way return it immediately.
