Easy to assemble, light smell I love the couch. the color is so much nicer in person. its a great size for my office. the fabric is nice and was easy to assemble. I only gave it 4 stars because its not the most comfortable.
Appropriate for the price Recently moved into a small apartment and we wanted a futon for guests but also use as our daily couch. Extremely easy to assemble. I will admit its not the most comfortable but if you prefer furniture on the stiffer side, this works great. Had a guest sleep on it and she said it was fine. Overally its a solid piece and very pretty.

The futon was purchased as a gift for my daughter. I am truly disappointed in the quality and feel bad that it looks like it wont last. Although the item was somewhat easy to assemble, there were a few areas on the seams that had strings sticking out and looks like its coming loose. On the back of right side, there was a tear by the seams of the zipper.
I messaged seller and instead of an apology, I was offered a $20 refund and told its an easy repair that I can re-sew and that it doesnt affect the use of the item.
Thats an insult when you use your hard earned money on something new and expect to not have to now worry about fixing it as soon as you receive it.
This was easy to setup and looks nice in a large room or a spare room. I would not use this as as sofa in living room/den where most of your entertaining is done. It is not conformable either to sit on for a long period of time or to sleep on. You would need some other padding. Planning to sell mine locally as return shipping would cost about 1/2 of the cost of this Futon. You would be better off with one of the the older metal framed Futons.
