After I initially ordered a similar unit, only to have the mfg cancel the order (I suspect it was due to their price increase right after I ordered), I purchased this unit / hoping the quality would be decent. Well, it is perfect. Not only is it quiet, but it is solid as a rock; and assembly was flawless. It even arrived sooner than expected. Great purchase. I did give it 4/5 for maneuverability on my carpet; but that was easily remedied with plastic skid pads. As another reviewer pointed out, the legs come straight down at the perimeter, so if you tend to be in a hurry, I recommend pool noodles (or rubiflex piping sleeves) from the hardware store.
Assembly is not really difficult, but I only gave it 4 stars because I can just imagine some poor single parent trying to put it together by themself. All you need is an wrench and a small wrench which are both included, but it takes about 15 minutes. Really not difficult at all, just not as easy as unfolding it as I have experienced with other (less sturdy) platforms. The assembly time is worth it because the finished product is very study and easy to move. Highly recommend.
