Overall, if you are in the market for a smaller table that looks good in any space, I would recommend this product.
The table is extremely easy to assemble and is quite sturdy. The legs are well spaced, making it comfortable to sit at even with 4+ chairs around it. The item is packaged well and the assembly instructions are straight-forward.
With that said, considering how easy the table is to assemble, you should be careful not to over-tighten the screws securing the tabletop to the legs. I tightened them until the hex key couldnt turn any more, which caused the wood around the holes underneath the tabletop to splinter a little.
However, any splintering is only noticeable when you completely remove the tabletop. Meanwhile, over-tightening the other screws did not cause damage to any other part of the table. In short, if you follow the instructions and make sure the table is secure (rather than attempting to make it unbreakable), assembly shouldnt give you much trouble, if you even have any at all.
Beyond the table itself, the prompt and reliable customer service provided by the seller made me glad I selected this item. At some point in the shipping process, the tabletop was damaged, resulting in it arriving with some deep, dark scratches to the finish. After discovering the damage and reaching out to the seller about it, they promptly replaced the table. I do not believe shipping damage like what I encountered occurs all that often, but I appreciated the sellers understanding of the issue and how quickly they resolved it. Because damage from shipping could occur for any item, just knowing that a seller provides reliable and prompt customer support takes a great deal of the stress out of shopping for new furniture.
I like to put together furniture without looking at the instructions. Its kind of my thing. This was more challenging than most, not in a bad way per se, but there is a detail related to how the metal pieces overlap thats kind of important... especially if you are a really particular (obsessive compulsive) person like I am. I wont explain it well and the company didnt even try in the video (no copy of instructions included). They completely skip it which frustrates me. It still works if you just do it all haphazardly, but there is a reason lots of negative reviews mention having to really force it. If done uniformly, theres no need to force anything.
The best I can do to explain is that at higher joint, looking at the leg from the inside (see pic for perspective), the pieces overlap so that the bar coming from the left is on the bottom. Its the opposite on the lower joint. On the bottom row of joints, the bar coming from the left is on top of the bar to the right. If you arent deliberate about this, you would need to force it and bent bars make things less stable.
Hope that helps.
Also the screw length only worked in the one middle location without the washer... because its thicker there there the bars overlap. That really should have been accounted for in the design.

Be prepared to need an extra hand and lots of time
Assembly took 3 people and way too long to line up all the metal pieces.
