Expected. I spent weeks deciding if I should buy this bed frame (based on the negative reviews) and ultimately decided that I needed the drawer space. As mentioned in other reviews, I put the bed together and then went to the local hardware store to get corner brackets to help reinforce the bed. I also turned all of the drawers upside down and put wood glue on the edges where the bottom of the drawer meets the sides. I let the glue sit overnight before putting the drawers back. Every single drawer is filled with clothing and some of them with heavier clothes like jeans. Ive been using it for 1 month now and absolutely love it. The bed feels sturdy / I only notice give if I am purposely trying to test out the sturdiness of the frame. And even then, it doesnt move much. I bought this for 250 and not only was it significantly cheaper than other frames I have bought, it is also significantly better and more useful than other frames. So far I love it and am very glad that I decided to purchase it. Just make sure you reinforce it. I didnt test the bed without the reinforcements, but I am guessing it wouldnt be as sturdy.
UPDATE: Ive now had this bed for a year and I still love it. Absolutely no issues at all. Drawers have held up just fine. Nothing has broken. The bed isnt wobbly. My only complaint is that I wish the drawers had handles on them, but I can add those myself.
Good deal and was easy to put together. One issue I found was that the wood from the platform constantly shifts. So have to lift up mattress to fix back into place constantly.
I love it space saver I am back to buy another one. Fairly decent bed for what you get. Compared to stores in town this is a bargain. I took 3 days to put t all together, just very time consuming doing it alone.
Nice! I bought the floatin headboard with it the bed because I thought they would look good together. And they do but it took me and my husband hours to assemble. If youre willing to put in the work its great but be prepared
I like it. It arrived last week but I paid for assembling so it was assembled today. The person who assembled it said that all parts were nice and in good condition.
What I can tell without having used it yet is that the boards arent sanded and the drawers interior arent finished so its all rough surface inside.
