Looks great once put together. Took sometime, but instructions were good. Parts did not all long up. Had to improvise. Tipping danger. Shelves not adjustable.
For the price, its a fair deal. I like the finished product and didnt have too much trouble putting it together. That said, there were some obvious places in the assembly of it where I noticed some cost/cutting measures were taken, such as not drilling pilot holes for the backboard, the minimal pictures/only instruction sheet, etc. But like I said, theres a reason its reasonably priced. And even with the obvious corners cut, it was still rather an easy assembly. Its not terribly sturdy so dont let your toddler swing on the doors, but it will definitely do its job if treated well. Remember what you paid; its not a piece of oak furniture that will last 100 years. Looks gorgeous when put together. All pieces were well protected in transit by the packing job inside the box. Overall Im pretty happy with it.
I like this so much, I have purchased two of them. I was tired of my shoes taking up so much floor space (and gathering dust) in my bedroom and next to my back door. I purchased one for my bedroom and later one to put by my back door. I also purchased elsewhere glass tops because both are in front of a window and hold lots of plants. I like that it has doors to make everything look neat and keep the dust out. The design is classic and goes with my classic mission/style furniture and antiques. It is hard to find a dark wood shoe cabinet these days that will fit under a window sill.
