    Perfect for teens

I bought two of these for my teenage boys. Both had their dual monitor computers setup with all the accessoriesheadphone holders, desk lamps. The desk is wide and long enough to hold the keyboard and mouse pad with space to have the two monitors. The shelves in the corner were small but enough to hold school supplies, a few binders, books and picture frames. My only suggestion would be to get a lite mattress.one of my boys had an older style mattress with wrapped springs/coils and his bed did squeak when he moved in it.

    Very well built

Very well built. Sturdy and after having multiple bunk beds in the past, this one is more impressive than all of them and at a better value.

    Solid simple bed, however

After a few extra trips to Home Depot, it finally came together. Simple and clean. I purchased all new bolts and screws bc the ones they give you are basically garbage. As a parent/adult, I could not climb up the ladder. It was excruciating on my feet. I even had my husband test it out and try climbing up. Unfortunately, he couldnt as well. The ladder was made of metal bars with no support. In my opinion, this bed is not made for younger children. Thankfully my child is older and is aware he needs to be careful should he need to go in and out of bed throughout the night. Note to parents: Top bunk would be hard to clean and change sheets considering the ladder issue. All in all, a solid bunk for older children.

It does not squeak at all.

It calls for two men to assemble it but I did it by myself. The direction was not the best but with a little common sense in that field you can get it done very sturdy does not squeak. If I had a need I would buy it again and I love that you dont have to use the twin over the bunk it can be separate.

Add a helper and this ones a breeze

Im reviewing this because amongst items one must assemble, this bunk, by far, had the clearest, best written instructions. The header says have a helperIm a senior with some joint issues and I live along. I had the box delivered to a room inside (well worth the few extra dollarsI would not have been able to manage this on my own. I opened it and laid out all the pieceslots of them. The next day I began assembly. Each piece is well marked; the parts kit is also well marked so no confusion on which bolts etc to use where. Working alone I did the side assemblies. I had a visitor at an appropriate timeI needed another pair of hands to attach the main rails so it would stand up. She assisted with holding one side while I attached the rail to the other and did two lower bolts that would have been difficult for me to reach. After that, I was solo again. The manual suggests 1/1/2 hours to completion; I likely took more like 7 or 8 over the course of a couple of days. In the end I had one question and called the company. Super service with virtually no wait for a customer support agent. The bed supports me well and I am not a light/weight. If I had any complaint it was only that the offer did not show alternate colors. My bunk is gray; given the option I would have picked their blue model. Regardless, this is well made, very sturdy, and looks just fine. Every single fitting was in the right place and in the odd situation, one person can do the assembly job.
