I was surprised how easy the assembly was. And I even reversed it to have the steps on the right and the desk on the left. All the pieces are real wood except for the drawers (they are made of cheap particle board). Our son is loving his new loft bed.
The only suggestion I would have is for the makers to label the wood pieces with small stickers. All the screws and other hardware are conveniently labeled and packaged individually so that helped. The whole set came in 5 boxes so I was able to build the sections one at a time without unboxing the whole set and without mixing up hardware. This also allowed me to build it over the course of 3 days when I got from work.

I loved this bed. Perfect for my boys. The seller, however, only sent 4 boxes instead of 5. So now I must get a different one. The desk part was pretty sturdy while I had it up before I realized the missing parts. truly easy to install
It took 7.5 hours for two people with decent tool and building knowledge to put this bed together. Most of it was easy enough, once you figured out which piece was which (they arent labeled), but the desk was a nightmare. None of the predrilled holes matched properly so construction was difficult. Overall, my eleven year old loves her new bed and that she has a little hangout beneath the loft to read or chill.
Also, the dimensions are wrong in the product description. The length of the bed assembled with the stairs is around 95, not 75. Perfect for us

The only thing was that we were missing 3 pieces for the drawers, but other than that it came together well. The wooden slats that support the mattress are a little flimsy but can be reinforced if needed. We love the extra storage. Product was just as descriproduct

Most assembly can be done by a single person. I did the drawers and prepping of pieces while the other adult assembled larger pieces in the room.
The overall unit is less study with each component than I would prefer, but each unit is very sturdy on its own. We will probably add hardware as time goes on to ensure stairs and shelves stay attached.
Design is somewhat reversible and interchangeable until you get to the footboard.
Overall, much cheaper than other loft beds considered and reasonable amount of sweat equity required for the end result! Its so pretty
The slats that came with the bed are thinner and smaller (free to slide around in the bed frame) than expected, so we had to improvise a little bit. After my son fell through, mattress included, my husband screwed the slats onto the bed frame.
Besides that, my son loves it, and it fits his needs very well. It saves space, and is great for adolescents. Well done, great delivery
