    Issues with screws

One of the holes was not drilled right so the screw nut thats suppose to help lock the side rails was not able to be put in place. To small for the price.

Great bunkbed, but with one mislabeled part.

Worth the price !!! The bottom wood rails (See image) are mislabeled. Both are H parts list and it should be an I and an H. Not knowing which correct H to use will make you disassemble the bottom bunkbed later. Also, a pick tool (See image) may be needed to clear out wood debris from manufacturer/cuts or else screws wont go in. Having a mallet also wouldnt hurt too. And finally, be careful if using power tools. It can damage/crack the wood as youre tighten the long screws. A Milwaukee Surge (fluid drive) may be best. Its more gentle than regular drivers. DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT USE an impact driver. That will damage the wood!!! A second helper is needed to build some sections. Instructions are really good, but a helper will make the process smoother.

    Be sure before you purchase

Assembly was hell and I assemble just about anything Its not as sturdy as I would have like.

Dont recommend putting together without help

Super. Good quality. Items easily marked. Instructions were simple to follow. However. The way you have to hold pieces together to screw them Into place was nearly impossible. It took me about 4 hours to complete on my own and I was not thrilled by the end! Ha. But it was worth it. My boys love it.

I love the size barrel screws just need to be updated

Save yourself the headache and go purchase barrel screws because the ones that are provided bend very easily so the screws wont screw in them properly. It stopped me from assembling it had to wait till the next day to purchase better ones at Home Depot. Sturdy for light items.

Great purchase with some minor kinks

Well made, easy to assemble and useful. Works perfectly for what we want. I give 4 stars because some of the screws keep popping out and the space between the top and lower bunk is so small that my 2 year old is constantly bumping his head. Hell figure it out soon enough. Very happy with this purchase and itll last a long time!

Good for visitors, not good for many years.

Serves our purposes well: guest bed for visiting Grandkids. At most, will be used 15 times per year. Weight limit on top bunk is 165 lbs., so be aware. Also needed: bunkie board or mattress with internal frame that can support the mattress weight properly across the thinner slats. (Total height for mattress and support is only 6, so plan accordingly.) Wood is very soft, and though it is very sturdy now, I would not expect it to hold up well to nightly use over many years. Railing on top bunk goes around all four sides, a big plus as we wanted to have the bed extend into the room rather than border a wall. You will need a hammer to tap some of the dowels into place; some push in much more easily than others. Assembly was easy and intuitive; excellent diagrams and labeling of parts. Finish/stain is uneven in places, giving an amateurish look. More sturdy than expected.
