Solid product! Only reason for not having 5 stars is that there was a broken part in the box. It was likely from shipping, but the manufacturer replaced the part within a week. Very Responsive.
Impressed by the quality of these bunk beds. Ordered after a lot of online research and knowing myself well enough to realize a trip to Ikea would do me in. My lovely husband put them together in a few hours without any complaints. Kids (ages 4 and 6) have SO much room to spread out / good clearance on the bottom bunk. Packaging was a little damaged on arrival but contents were all fine!
Fit perfectly and was simple enough to put together. Only complaint was that it took a little longer than expected to arrive, but still arrived in plenty of time.
I purchased this bed about a year and a half ago for my 2 and 3 year old boys. After allowing it to be tested for this long, I can finally write a review. It took my boyfriend and I about 2 hours to put the beds together // we had no problems as long as the instructions are followed properly. It is very sturdy and the color is beautiful.
Going in, I knew that this bed was only fit for children // The space between the bottom and the top bunk is very small. We would need a thinner mattress, which we bought foam toppers for. This bed does not come with mattresses.
Overall, it has held up well over 18 months and still has much time left on it.
PROS:
// simple to put together
// looks beautiful and is sturdy
// kids like it and its safe
CONS:
// it is very small and cannot accommodate a larger mattress without the risk of it being higher than the safety railing
This bed has worked out great and is an excellent deal.
This bed took me about 3 hours to assemble by myself, with a bad leg (me, not the bed!). It would have been a lot quicker if parts and hardware had been labelled / some of the parts (e.g. two of the four end boards) were labelled but most other pieces were not / seems very inconsistent. A sticker or writing on each piece would make it so much quicker. Same with the nuts/bolts / I recommend matching everything and writing their number ref. on the plastic bags with a sharpie pen. The instructions are adequate if youre reasonably experienced with assembling furniture; many steps are included within each diagram so you have to figure out ther best order yourself. Theres no gluing so you can reverse steps if you need to go back.
The tolerances were good for a product at this price point / everything fitted pretty much where it should. A few inadequately drilled out holed for the bolts but a bit of poking with a sharp stick got any rogue shavings out. There is a straight metal bracket which fits behind the ladder support on the inside but it doesnt fit well because there are embedded / its the exploded diagram of step 7, so it has to be fitted with two screws near to the end of the wood so likely not very strong. I called customer service and spoke to a knowledgeable American which was a nice surprise, not a person 5000 miles away reading from a script/database. I got through quickly too.
The biggest issue, however, is as others have mentioned, the clearance for the lower bunk. The child on the lower bunk does not have enough space to sit up for a a drink or to read a book (you can recline I guess). It will do, we were just a bit surprised and it might be a bit enclosed being so low. Son didnt actually seem to care though. Its just 20 from lower matress to top bunk bottom.
This isnt going to last 10 years but for the price and our purpose, should be okay.

Great for the price
Great for the price...very wobbly once assembled as a bunk bed. Weight restrictions on top bunk make it hard to feel comfortable making the top bed.
Bunk Beds are super sturdy. Easy to put together

Reasonable value; looks good. Note : Very low headroom for lower bunk.
