The finish on these shelves is very nice and looks smooth. They feel very sturdy and have an easy installation. They’re also pretty thick and I have no issues with them.
I ordered these for my bedroom since I dont really have much going on in there. I wanted to put a humidifier on one during the dry days. These are nice black shelves, and each one has two pieces. They send along the screws and anchors if you need them. They are a good weight and an incredibly smooth finish. Theyre very easy to install as you just install the skinny piece that takes the screws first. I used a tape measure on both corners to mark a spot that would be the same height on each side. The screw holes are not big enough to fit a marker or pencil through it, but it was easy enough to figure out. I think my walls are off, because when I installed the first one I could not get the top piece to slide over it perfectly. So, I just put screws in one side of it which was through a stud, then I put another screw on the other side closest to the corner. I left the fourth screw out because every time I did it it would not match up. I could have kept trying and figured it out, but I didnt need it since it was secure and I stud. I do not have the problem with the other wall. They look great, and I do recommend.

This set of solid wood shelves is better quality that I expected. They came with all of the required hardware plus a couple extra. I broke an expander when doing the install and so was quite happy to have an extra one included.
The shelves are very easy to install. The wooden bracket that holds the shelves is hidden when done, leaving the impression of floating shelves.
I installed mine behind a door in the laundry room so that I have a place for some of my cleaning supplies. It was wasted space before the shelves. However, the shelves are pretty enough that they could certainly be installed anywhere more visible. I think they would work well in a bathroom.
It does exactly what you think it would do and Im happy with it hanging in my bathroom. Excellent single corner shelf for any purposes (mine for oil diffusor) and it looks nice. Love the simplistic design that lends for more contemporary decor. The shelf is very easy to install and is easy to clean as well.
Finally, something thats as advertised - REAL WOOD, yes, actual wood. The pieces are not only smoothed out on the surfaces, but there are indents (routing) where the supplied L brackets attach. Hardware was spot on and the install was mostly measuring and leveling.
Speaking of levels, while its nice they supply a tiny one in case you dont have one, its cylindrical - it will just roll around on a flat surface. (What genius thought of that?). So use your own (flat) level.
Along with a touch of contact paper as a backdrop, and wow, I am ecstatic. These change the whole ambiance of my tiny bathroom (and sink area). Very, very happy.
For staining, I wanted to go purely natural. I used simple mineral oil for treating / staining (with a hint of dark essential oils). Note: while mineral oil may be clear, it moisturizes and darkens the wood enough to add a nice healthy coloring. Mostly I just hand rubbed it.
