Easy to assemble, unbeliveably sturdy! Before I ordered I thought maybe would be wobbly, or not hold a lot of weight, works perfect and is exceptionally sturdy, I highly reccomend for a family on a budget!
With 8' ceilings, there is plenty of room at the top for sitting up and moving around for my 10 year old, who's a little tall for her age. A little time consuming but overall easy to assemble. Fairly sturdy without brackets but definitely want to use them. Longer brackets are needed for our use, as the bed is next to a window frame at one end.
I bought and received this trundle from unlike other review. The trundle was amazingly easy to put together it took 20 minutes. Very clear instructions. Tools were included. Fits perfectly with a 6 inch mattress under the daybed. Holds my weight (180 lbs) Highly recommend.
My husband put it together and he said it was no problem. Just needed my help a couple times to hold it up. My daughter loves it, it's very sturdy and adds a great amount of space to the room, she loves to hang things from it and has a cozy little hang out area underneath. We did need to purchase a clip lamp for her to read in bed at night because the over head light is pretty close to the top bunk and doesn't give the right light for reading at that angle.
It came quickly, and took me hours to put together. About half the time spent was trying to put in the little squares at the top of the support bars that run under each bed - very hard to put in. And having a hammer was helpful for the very challenging ones. But, it's done now and my kids love it. And it's sturdy and looks nice.
I bought this bed for my son and he is extremely happy with it as am I. The only thing that I don't particularly care for that my son agrees with is how thin the rails for the ladder are. Other than that very pleased.
There was one part that was missing I ended up with two of 1 rail and it was supposed to be two different ones. I dealt with the company directly as that is where it ended up coming from and they were very prompt in sending out the correct part immediately they only needed to know what the model number was and that's it No hassles at all.
Bought 2 of them. Built by 1 adult 2 kids and 1 grandma. Took about 2 hrs to build the first one. 1.25hrs to build the 2nd one. Definitely handy if it’s two adults taller then 5’4”.

Comes in two boxes. Heavy box has the bed and side rails. Went together good. Assembled by one person. 2nd box contains the bottom shelves. Pain to assemble. Holes didn't line up for the table portion but I was able to use a drill/screwdriver on the wood screws to make new holes & it worked fine. Instructions for accessories could have been written better. Had to loosen portions of the bed to get things to line up. Paint chips off very easily on all portions of the frame.

Great bed for a young teenager. Especially for the price.
