Then after taking just a couple minutes to review the directions, I began the assembly, which turned out to be amingly simple and easy to do. Once I completed the project I was very happy with how everything turned out. I am using a 12 memory foam mattress on the platform, and this made the bed just the right height for me. First night on the bed? The platform is rock solid, nice and sturdy. I am very happy with this bed frame. Would I consider the 5.75 frame as better? With all the support that this bed has, I see no reason in my case to need more support.
Worth it! She loves it. Easy to assemble, good quality wood, packaged well. Like playing Legos with wood.
Cons: Bald spots on stain, and frame slips around my wood floor.
I loved it. This bed frame was easy to assemble by myself / a one/man job. It is just the right height to get the mattress a comfortable 20/24 off the floor. Excellent craftsmanship and finish is beautiful.
