Weve gone through lots of IKEA furniture in our life, and we bought two of these to replace two IKEA beds that were absolute garbage. Its typical particle board IKEA/like furniture, but the overall finished product was better than I expected. The mattress supports were almost 1/2 thick sheets that covered the entire surface vs the rolled slats and 1/8 panels from IKEA. It made for a stronger finish and my daughter is no longer complaining about the mattress. The old slats just pushed more springs through the mattress. It takes roughly 60 minutes to assemble the entire bed / 30 minutes for the whole frame and 30 minutes for the three drawers. The one thing I was not pleased with was the back of the drawer. The front and sides of the drawers have slats along the bottom edge to slide in the bottom panel. The back does not and you have to nail the piece in from the bottom / be careful not to split the board with a nail! The bottom panel is not flush with the back piece, so you cant even use the entire thickness for the nail. Other than that, the end result was very nice and the kids love the beds. I was even able to stand on the bed to do some final adjustments with posters et al. No creaking or fear I was going to break the bed. simple yet awesome design
I ordered this bed for my three old daughter. I was a bit nervous with the 50/50 reviews but I decided to give it a try. It was delivered and all the pieces were accounted for and in good shape. I initially attempted to use a power drill thinking it would reduce the time it would take to put it together, but it was a bit too powerful. I would recommend that you only use hand tools. I found the bed fairly easy to assemble and I put this together practically almost all by myself (Im a girl). I dont find that the drawer hardware is sharp as I read in other reviews. My only complaint would be that the drawers do not easily open and close. They are very stiff and I dont think it will get easier with more use; its just the fact that they used plastic parts for the drawers to slide in/out. All in all I am very happy with this purchase. I used an 8 memory foam mattress and this works great. I also got the headboard/bookshelf to attach which is great. cant praise it enough!
Well, lets start with the good stuff. The knobs for the drawers are really nice, it looks really good in my place and it supports me to sleep on and the drawers hold my clothes(i hang up most my clothes tho). Ok so the negative.its particle board so you have to be careful when putting it together, its cheap you get what you pay for, you NEED two people at least there is no way you will be able to set this up alone, when the box arrives it is very heavy(127lbs) the ups person had a bit of a struggle. I dont mind it though, im on a budget, i just need something to hold up my mattress that had drawers and looks nice and of course can support my pregnant self. To be quite honest, the mattress is way more important than the bed. I personally enjoy the bed even though setting it up was.ohy, hard, i still enjoy my bed and how it looks in my living room. I would recommend this bed for a family on a budget. By the way, daybeds cost anywhere from 300/2500(400 avrg) Other than that, its a great product!
This was purchased for my daughters room and she loves it. It went together without much difficulty and so far it is holding up well for furniture that you assemble yourself. The price was also reasonable still feels plenty sturdy
I like this bed for a child. I dont think it would support an adult, but it was for my 4 year old so it is fine. I really like the silver hardware and the storage drawers. Im happy with this purchase. Best choice
We bought this for my four year old, and my husband who is not a handyman at all was able to assemble it with ease. It held my whole family without any trouble and great bang for your buck. We shopped around at local furniture stores and saw many beds like this but double the price. Definitely got a great deal! Comes as shown in picture.
The item I reviewed had two missing parts for constructing the bed, and I think the build quality is good but has a few flaws. See video for more details. At this point, I do recommend the bed for a 4/year/old use. If something changes, I will update it on here. Be sure to have it
We purchased this bed as our 3yo daughters first big girl bed. We did a little research on beds, and decided that a platform bed with drawer storage would best meet our needs, so after checking out various styles, this is what we decided to purchase. My husband put it together on his own, and I honestly dont recall how long it took him, but he said there were minimal / if any / issues. We really like the way it looks and it seems quite sturdy. If I remember correctly, we have had the bed for just short of 4 months now, and have had no major issues with it. The only reason I dont give it 5 stars has to do with the knobs on the drawers. They are ridiculously sharp, to the point where my daughter, a friend of hers and I have all gotten cuts on our legs or arms from scraping against them inadvertently. We have attempted to position her comforter over them as an extra cushion, but due to using a guard rail on one side, we cant cover them completely. Again, though, if we really wanted to, it would be as simple as replacing them with a less pointy knob. For the price, we are truly satisfied with this bed, including the drawers (which we have actually filled quite full of various things / dress/up clothes, blankets, sticker books and art supplies), and are pleased with the purchase. Would definitely recommend it to someone looking for a reasonably priced, well put/together bed for a childs room / or even guest room. The instructions were perfect! I didnt get confused at all

Exactly what we expected
My young daughter loves this bed. It is sturdy enough to hold an adult, and the storage underneath is very useful too. I totally recommend it
Pleasantly surprised
