Honestly one of the best chairs Ive sat in quite a while. Going over the reviews this chair is extremely polarizing, you either love it or hate it; really depends on the user.
I have an Aeron in the office and in comparison the things I like significantly better about the gesture are the armrests and the adjustable base really helps for the long hours you sit in front of the computer. The only issue I have is the model doesnt have the adjustable lumbar support on the chair.
For what its worth though this is one of those buy it for life purchases with the 12 year warranty it really comes out cheaper than buying a new chair every couple of years.
The only issue is if they ship this through USPS like they did with me youre going to get screwed over because they wont be able to fit the packaging the chair comes in on their trucks. So I ended up picking it up myself from the post office.
It seems high quality, but I was not impressed overall. The main issues were lack of lumbar adjustment and lack of seat angle adjustment. I felt like I was sliding out of the chair constantly. Also, the build quality of the knobs, levers and arm rests was lower than I expected; not flimsy, but less sturdy and satisfying to use than I expected. For a chair of this price I expected it to feel very high end.
Used this chair for a few weeks, but it just didnt work out. With no ability to adjust the angle of the seat, I kept feeling like I was falling out of the chair. Sitting for long periods of time (> 8 hrs), it just wasnt comfortable.
This is my first experience with a 1k plus office chair. I have disc issues and constant back problems that I have been able to control through chiropractic, massage, and honestly the use of this chair. I have to sit 8 plus hours a day at my job and I definitely feel this has improved my overall feel compared to the cheap chairs I had previously used. Tons of options to make the chair feel how you want it to, arm rest move, different tensions on everything. Is it worth $1000+? To me, it has been more than worth it. To you, maybe not. But, from my perspective, I could not recommend this chair enough if you are in the market for this sort of thing.
I like the chair, its comfortable, easy to adjust, but I am not thrilled about the ascetics. I think I would have preferred a fully white version, maybe with chrome base and arm rests mechanism.
I received my chair this week and have used it for 2 days at this point. I love the chair and think its extremely comfortable, but am a little annoyed that its not exactly as featured on . The pictures show that the chair listed comes with the lumber support slide feature, but this is actually not true. support sent me to support, who told me had it listed incorrectly. I will have to go to a vendor to buy the additional piece and have it installed on site.
