Assembly was simple and it is pretty sturdy and good quality for the price. My main complaint is with the door closure. The little magnet fixture that is responsible for keeping the doors closed came pre-attached the underside of the top piece of the cabinet. The placement is too far back tot eh point that the magnet doesnt actually do anything so the doors are constantly ajar. Im sure it can be re-positioned to fix the problem, I just havent gotten around to it yet. Overall a good cabinet.
I bought one of this size and one with a single door in the same style.
We have a fair amount of Sauder furniture, and are generally happy with it.
This is the next step up. It assembles in almost exactly the same way, with similar hardware of slightly higher quality.
The wood is the real difference. It looks and feels more solid, and the back pieces are far more substantial. Sauder gives you a thin sheet and nails. This has a thin board with pre-drilled screws.
We will be looking to this brand when we need new bookshelves and stuff in the future.
This does the job. For the price it is exactly what I expected. I use this in a closet so the cheap look is not a problem for me. The bottom front edge was not finished like the other exterior parts. This must have been a manufacturing error and quality assurance must not be important for the manufacturer. But in a closet it works fine and is sturdy enough to hold towels.
I bought 2 of these to add space to our kitchen; I was pleased to see the feet are optional and I left them off so I could stack them. They stack great because the top extends about an inch out from the base. They seem perfectly stable heavy stacked next to a wall; I dont plan to use a bracket. My husband and I put 2 of these together in 1 hr or so(battery screwdriver). I had previously used the Target shelves and these are MUCH nicer. Heavier all the way around and the glass and clear knobs give it class. I put bakeware in the bottom one and cookbooks and pet supplies in the top. I hope to buy more of these for my laundry room. They delivered quickly and were well packed; did have a bit of styrofoam but its a necessary evil. I smell a slight chemical smell; Ill prop the doors open for a day or two. Happy!
I ordered this item the same day I ordered the above the toilet tank shelf. I received it over a week after the toilet tank shelf. I was surprised at how big the cabinet actually is, but it got quite banged up being shipped. One of the feet are cracked and on each side wall on the exterior there are scuff marks. I am very happy on how much it holds.
We purchaased this for my mother-in-law for addirtional space in her bathroom. Took awhile for my husband to assemble but there were no issues with parts. It seems sturdy and is attractive.
This floor cabinet was exactly what I was looking for. The construction is sturdy and gave me plenty of storage space for my bathroom. I would definitely recommend this to someone!
I assembled this cabinet last night. It took a little over an hour and was not complicated with the detailed instructions provided. I had zero problems with assembly and this looks very cute in my bathroom. I will not hesitate to purchase from this manufacturer again!
Worth the money. Bought two of them to build custom bookshelves next to fireplace. Very easily assembled, took approximately 20 minutes each. All pieces were labeled correctly and directions were easy to follow. Although I made some minor adjustments to the cabinets (necessary for what I was doing with them)I have received rave reviews from everyone.
I was a little worried when I ordered this, considering the reviews about the horrible paint smell and the broken pieces, but I gave it a shot since it was the only bathroom cabinet I could find that didnt have clear glass doors, and I really liked the style. When it arrived, the box was really banged up, but the packing was exceptional - all pieces were there, neatly organized, and packed in foam; there wasnt even a scratch. It took a little while to assemble (I did it in stints over a few evenings), but was really easy. As someone else has mentioned, the hinges on the doors (pre-installed) were put on backwards. But fixing that was easy, and then it was done! The dimensions listed are also incorrect, as previously mentioned, but I expected that. Its taller than the dimensions say, but that was perfect for what I wanted - it sits at the same height as our pedestal sink. As for the paint smell cited by other reviewers, although I could smell it a little, it really didnt bother me at all, and I was able to assemble it right out of the box. Although my husband seemed a bit more perturbed by it than me, so I can see why some needed to let it air out for a couple days first.
All in all, Id say its a great product for the cost, and is exactly what I was looking for.
