This only took me about 45 minutes to out together by myself. Its nice, slightly wobbly but I didnt secure it to the wall. I took one star off because I though the bench seat contained storage. Its just a slab of bamboo.
At first, when I was unpacking the pieces, I thought that some of the hardware pieces were missing/the box was well/disguised with the styrofoam lol. Regarding the hardware: 1) high/quality screws. Too often, junk screws are sent, but these were really good. No stripping. 2) Two drivers/one phillips and one octagon/were included, and like the screws, were of great quality.they even had comfortable grips! Thats a first for me.
The assembly was very, very easy. It took me about 35 minutes from opening the box to putting the unit in place. It would have been quicker if my 3/month old puppy wasnt helping. However, because I am short, I assembled the bottom section, then the top, and then put them together by laying the unit on its side. Otherwise, I would have had to get a ladder to screw in the top shelf.
The unit comes with wall attachments, and these *must* be used. When I put a couple jackets on the hooks, the unit leaned forward slightly. This would be dangerous for kids (or in my case puppies) who might climb on it.
Overall, I am exceedingly happy!
FInally a piece of funriture that was an ease to assemble! The allen wrench that comes with it has a handle that makes it a breeze to screw in all the screws (Im holding on to this for future use!) / and the instructions are easy to understand. It is a solid piece that appears that it will stand up over time. My space isnt small per se, but I dont have a coat closet so this was the perfect thing. Its nice to be able to sit on the bench to put shoes one too. But, if you do have a small space, this would work well for you too. Love it!
I had this together in about 30 minutes. It looks great, holds all of our coats and bags, and keeps our shoes up off the floor. Its fairly sturdy but comes with straps to attach to the wall just in case.
We have a toddler and this is so much safer than a coat tree.
It looks as advertised. We are using it to display purses in our store. The top shelf being used as well
for some stuffed canvas bags. It filled our needs completely.
