These beds certainly met our expectations/ I would put the quality well above IKEA even. The bed is very solid and the paint job was good (it arrived with one ding from shipping, but not bad). The trundle bed was not quite so good with a few more scratches, but it was all easy to construct and it looks great and safe! Simple and does the job.
This is just what we were looking for. The kids are getting older and we wanted a sturdier set for the older kids. Their one requirement was that it had a trundle. After looking at several sets, this was the one we chose based on my preference (dark finish) and the dimensions of the space we needed to fit it into.
I had someone install it, so I cannot speak to how hard or easy it is to put together. Worth it! She loves it.
It was not a smooth assembly. One of the back fuard rail pieces was just a tad too long so once installed it bowed. This caused the outer rail guard to not tighten properly. The screws wouldnt tighten / almost like they were stipped. Same issue with the front rail guards. One of the crossbeams was bowed even though it was the right length. Lastly.whether using screwdriver or drill, the scrws for the crossbeams just did NOT want to screw all the way in. However the bed is sturdy and usable. Exactly as it looks, but not great quality.
I drove myself about cry trying to find the most perfect, most stable, bunkbeds out there for our vacation rental. I went around, and around, and around. I finally settled on these and had our handyman put together two sets. A total of four beds! They are perfect! Nice and sturdy for our rental. Kid tested! So solid! We bought nicer quality mattresses to put on so adults could use too.
Stop searching and go with these. You wont be disappointed. We got the natural stain. Perfect for the mountain look!! Attractive and strong.

Easy to assemble
Great for a first time bunk bed for toddler. It was easy to assemble arrived in great shape Love it.

Once project was finally finished it does look nice but I would not recommend it to a friend
