This product was purchased for a University dorm room. A twin size bed was the best fit to utilize the limited space in the room. A high quality mattress was purchased for this bed frame as there is no box spring required. Assembly was very straight forward. We are very pleased with this product. Do a web search for thorough tips on extras to pick up at the hardware store (L brackets and such), totally worth not creaking and feeling sturdy. still the corners are not 100% true and we squared everything as we built - go figure, but we are pleased with it. DEFINITELY worth it to spend an extra $40 on the extra screws and such. And be prepared for several hours of assembly, even if youre THAT good
I have always been a little scared of buying things online. Buying this product has put more faith in me buying online. Very fast ship date. The worst part about it was hauling all the boxes inside after UPS dropped it off. Very easy to read directions, went together quite quick. Everything lines up nice, no gaps anywhere, drawers look and work great. One box was shredded a bit from shipping, nothing was harmed, no parts missing.
For the price this bed is great. It came in two large boxes and it was a bit difficult to build, it took two of us 4 hrs. Mainly because the nut and bolts did not fit. We had to skip screwing in two parts because the nut was warped and it did not come with extra parts. The inside of the drawers were really thin and flimsy cardboards, not recommend to put heavy items inside. However, for the price it was worth it.
It took a while to put the bed together but it was worth it after completion. The only thing that bothers me is the strategic pricing which fluctuates all the time. Either the shipping price goesup or the bed price goes down. The vendors need to be real!! after all, we are not stupid....
It was not too bad putting it together, it took about 8 hrs of work and then I had to get it perfectly square for the drawers to slide in properly. Now that it is all together, its great!!!
I purchased this bed for my 14 year old, who is in high school. He love s the bed and says that he appreciate the drawers. When I seen this I thought it would be great to purchase this to work with the space we have in our apartment.
The quality of it being simply made of compressed wood and not real wood (except for the matress support) is not that great. Besides the quality of the wood its pretty nice considering how much extra storage space you gain and you also wont need a box spring. Looks pretty nice as long as you are careful not to chip into the fake wood.
My wife and are I both very large people and I was a little dubious of the design at first. But it in fact holds up very well. I was able to assemble it with no extra help. The connectors are well designed so this could be dissembled if you moved. And it does offer quite a bit of under bed storage even though the drawers dont go all the way to the center like they would on a nicer bed.

worth it in the end but parts were cheap

Looks good, lots of storage, not greatest quality.
