Absolutely love it! I put stuff for picture to show size of decorations. Wished it was taller but still happy with it. Its practical to hold shoes, dog leash, photos, etc.
So so pleased with this hall tree. Its the first piece of furniture Ive ordered online and had delivered so I was a little skeptical. It didnt have one scratch. Its very solid. We took our time putting it together to make sure we put it together correctly . The instructions were very clear and simple to follow. So pretty!
I chose this piece over a fine furniture piece from a specialty furniture store because I really liked how it looked. When I had finally put it together, it looked every bit as I expected. Its functionality is even better than I expected. And, I have received many compliments on it.
If there is a negative, it is the fact that it does require some skill to put it together. And, whatever you do, take the time to put in all of the panel screws. You will be tempted to allow the back panel to float and skip putting in the 20+ screws. This will compromise the sturdiness of the frame. To this end, the screw holes are not predrilled. They are marked but it will be your screwdriver technique that will allow for the hole to tap and the screw to go in straight. Patience will pay off with this piece. Highly reccomended.
I am really happy with this purchase. Its sturdy and adds a lot of storage/space for our kids shoes, book bags, jackets, etc... it really cleaned up our kitchen and our boys were excited to have a place for their belongings. For the money its hard to beat. In fact the entire line that goes with this ( Seaside) is really nice looking and feel pretty solid. I highly recommend it for that reason.
Assembly wasnt terrible, if you have assembled items from you pretty much get the concept. Just pay attention to which direction the boards face and take your time with the process to ensure its done right the first time.
Nice and heavy, sturdy feeling. Assembly was a little more intense than I had expected but wasnt a terrible experience. Quality control could clearly be improved. We had a couple lock washers that were malformed, and joined together which left us one short. Luckily I had some lock washers on hand so I could complete the assembly. Some of the pockets cut into the wood for the bolts with washers to recess into were not cut well, there were splinters of wood blocking the pocket that had to be cleaned up before inserting the bolts. The locking hardware for the upper sides were not in line with the dowels which made it a little difficult to get the pieces to seat together. Some of the screws on the pre-installed hinges on the door were stripped, but there are 3 screws per side, so 1 or 2 stripped shouldnt be a huge issue. I think just under $200 for this quality would be ok, almost $300 is a bit too much for this piece.
This corner tree is awesome! It fits our space perfectly. If you have a drill it speeds up installation. The finish does have these light grey specks in it, but it will hide dirt well.
So I have contacted the seller 3 times to let them know that I am missing Board 11 with no response. I purchased this in July. I was building a home so I didnt open it right away since it was for my new home. Now, this partially put together coat tree is totally useless and all I wanted was the board. I didnt initially want a refund, never asked for one, I just want BOARD 11 so that I can finish the tree! I still think its a beautiful piece but I am starting to despise it in its unfinished state. So although its a nice looking coat tree, pray you dont have to contact the seller for any reason because they will ignore you and ultimately having you throw away money because this thing is not cheap! But its going to end up in the trash if I do not get the ONE freaking board that I need. Why is that so hard!? Send me BOARD 11!
I received the missing board! Finally able to complete this coat tree. The board arrived damaged but I am just happy to this coat tree functional.

I put it together myself. Took about 2 hrs but would be a breeze with 2 people

Its easy to put together but it wont last forever, especially if you move constantly
