Looks fine. Sticks out a bit for my queen mattress. I bump my knee on the corner of it constantly and have been rocking a left knee bruise since I bought the damn thing. It make the bed comfier and looks nice, just be smarter than me and put a bumper on the corners before your knees look like they got beat with a baseball bat.
It literally didnt take me that long to put it together! And without my husband! Fits great in the grandbabies room! Perfect for the toddlers and even the older boys.
