Bed assembled by 2 men easily in couple of hours. All parts were enclosed. No damages. Bed seems not very sturdy for regular, daily use by 2 people. I use it for a guest bed guests have liked it - but only been 1 guest sleeping on it. Shifts slides. Would recommend better way to hold hybrid mattress in place and better gripper to prevent frame from sliding around. But this is a beautiful bed comfortable per my 20 yr old grand-daughter!
This product came with one of the balls on the footboard broken. It wasnt worth the hassle of sending back though once I had my other bed taken apart and put in the garage.... its also very low, if you have a thicker mattress you wont see the bar details on the headboard at all. My new mattress covers it entirely.
**Update, upon submitting this review, the seller contacted me and gave me a partial refund for the broken ball. This was much apprecitated.
***Update after 5 nights of use, one of the legs on the bed has bent out and will not support any weight. I am so disappointed. I LOVED the look of this bed.

The instructions for this bed frame werent exactly the simplest to follow. It took me nearly 2 hours to make out how to piece this bad boy together. However this bed is made to last it is made with sturdy material. Bonus note: No boxframe needed
Wow! This bed frame is super sturdy and awesome!!!! We are thrilled we got this bed. We got it for our Master Bedroom. So terrific and we cant believe how costly it was!!
This bed frame is so worth it. The directions were a bit confusing but nothing that couldnt be figured out. It looks expensive. Doesnt make any squeaking sounds. I have vinyl flooring and it doesnt slide across it like my old frame used to. Seriously it is worth the money !!!!! (:
