I understand the product is coming from China but hiring an American to read the barely-understandable pictorial directions and assemble it and then to give directions in English would be awesome. Another option is to sink some money into pointing out visually the parts you need to look out for - like how the side rails, one way is up (you can barely see it on the directions). Great product, just a little too long of a construction time because we put it together a couple times after having to backtrack.

Comfortable and practical for small spaces We bought this for our den to replace a large queen bed. Having the smaller bed saved us a lot of space in the room. It arrived quickly, in excellent condition, and all parts were included, even some spare parts as well. I actually over torqued one of the bolts and broke it, so it was nice to have an extra one in the bag! Overall, the assembly was not too hard and the instructions were pretty easy to follow. It took me about 90 minutes to assemble.
Both the main bed and the trundle frame underneath are very sturdy and well designed. I like the look of the black metal frame as well as the leather on the sides and back.
I highly recommend this bed!

I had been wanting a trundle bed for my guestroom. I was nervous about buying this on and putting it together. This piece is wonderful, well made, better than . It is sturdy, well-made and looks great. However two people are needed to assemble it...and it does take several hours.
Very happy with this purchase. Now I can have guests over comfortably.
