    Receive a creased door.

After opening the package, we found that the door on the right has been squeezed out of shape. Because the whole thing is too heavy. Request that the door be replaced.

    A Lifesaver for Storage!

Theres nothing fancy about this cabinet but the black color makes it look quite classy in our office. Love that it can lock as well! Quick shipping and easy to put together!

    Great locked storage cabinet

Perfect for what I need it for. Really like the look of the two/tone color. The only real detractor is the price.

    Not a bad price

Bought it for extra storage with my clothes in my room because wooden dressers break too fast with me, very sturdy just a bit noisy but some wd/40 fixed the creeking

Buy one, buy several! Assembly instructions included

Awesome cabinet, sturdy and easy to assemble. Shipped more securely than anything else Ive ever ordered with corner braces, protective mdf boards, and lots of thick styrofoam between each layer as well as foam sheeting. I found the assembly instructions AFTER following a video online so I attached photos of it here for anyone else that doesnt get one or doesnt find it until taking trash out. I ordered grey but its a pretty brushed silver and I am super pleased. Would DEFINITELY purchase again.

    Very Nice Cabs!

So to test the waters before I get a bunch of these i ordered two of them to start. They come in a package that is the size of the largest panel, which basically the size of one door (maybe 70 something inches long and 18/20 inches wide?). The packaging is a sturdy cardboard box on the outside.a crate like frame on the inside followed by some fiber board panels as well to protect everything (These board panels are nice to laying on the floor to work on your car or perhaps other uses besides just garbage). There are some foam pieces separating everything as well as some thin foam sheeting protecting the finish on items. My point here is, they are packaged about as good as they could be (in my opinion) to get to you with minimal damage. That said.its a bulky 115 pound box that has to be man handled from its origin to your front door. I got lucky and mine made it ok with just a few inconspicuous dings which i think probably happened when they were being packed and not during travel, as i cant see how they could be damaged during travel with the level protection they have (but im no expert on packing). This said. if you want a PERFECT piece of furniture and not a cabinet that you probably are going to ding/dent/scratch within the first week of owning it, you might want to purchase something fully assembled from a store that you can refuse delivery upon inspection or not even purchase unless you see it first in person. Once you understand this, then you can enjoy a reasonably priced cabinet that will require 100 assembly giving you the opportunity to make the most out of it. You will need a screwdriver, in some instances you can get away with using a power/driver where you have room to do this, but most of the connections are up against another panel and it just seemed easier to use a hand screwdriver. Also since all the screws are non threaded sheet screws i would say its safer to assemble by hand with a hand screw driver so you dont over tighten or strip the assembly holes by applying too much force. The provided instructions give you the proper order of operations for assembly and they are relatively easy to follow. The panels that matter are marked with an identifying sticker that corresponds to the instructions and its pretty easy to walk through the process. I was able to do all this alone, but it would go easier with an additional set of capable hands if afforded to you. Once assembled, you have a perfectly good cabinet that seems much lighter than when it was in the box. Its easy to move around, level, and get it to its final resting place to fill with your junk. Heres what I like: 1. Packaged well, easy to assemble. Enough tolerance built in to make assembly easy but not so lose that the thing isnt sturdy or wildly wobbly that you need to square it up 2. Door handles are nice, opposed to half turn handles on most cabinets 3. mechanism was easy to remove and did not make the doors unusable in any way 4. Overall finish is very nice and appealing in my opinion (for a cabinet) 5. Basically only one type of screw was used in the whole build 6. The shelf hanging locations are indexed with a mark so you can make sure you are putting your shelf hangers level 7. They provide locks for the shelves which hold them tightly in place . Very nice touch makes it much more sturdy and less chance of a shelf becoming knocked out of position Heres what i dont like 1. Its thin and you can/will damage it easily. But thats what keeps the cost down as well as the weight 2. I had to drill holes so i could mount to wall, run electric into them. Wish there were pre/fabricated knockouts for this 3. Hinge is just a pin and bar that the doors hang on. They function fine and make removing the doors easy, but i kind of wish there was more here. For smoother operation and perhaps less likely to wear out. 4. mech is flimsy and noisy when opening and closing the door (i removed it cause i dont care to lock it, but i could see people noticing this) 5. The frame (when fully assembled) is just a little too flimsy (since its such light thin material). You can twist the frame which ultimately makes it hard to get level and also make the doors line up so they operate in a desired way. This is a good thing though if you are going to screw them to the wall, as you can easily square it up. But if its sitting on the ground freely you might find it hard to level and square properly. 6. Assembly stickers are paper and glue and the paint on the cabinets is not very strong paint. You gotta be careful removing the stickers with solvent in order to not damage the paint. I wish they were vynal static stickers that peeled off easy. Some tips 1. I put a little grease on the hinge areas and moving parts that were to . 2. I put a little antiseize on the threaded feet incase they come in contact with water and i ever want to adjust them one day down the road 3. I wired mine up for door sensor lights and the space inside is accommodating to tuck and hide your lights and wires 4. Do not overtighten the screws when assembling and it helps to have someone hold things steady during assembly to get a good final product 5. I removed the bars as these are in my locked and well im not worried about such things. If you are the same, remove all the hardware but leave the lock cylinder and this make the door nice and quiet to operate. 6. I added some magnets on the frame to catch and pull the doors in nicely. Not totally needed but its a nice added touch so the doors dont bounce back open if you close too strongly. 7. Removing the assembly stickers was tricky without messing up the paint. Next time ill be trying a heat gun. Using a solvent on the glue damaged the paint a little bit. I actually ended up just painting the stickers flat black and forgetting about it. Overall i am super happy with these and will be ordering 5/6 more to finish out my organization OCD project in my . If you are not good at general mechanical things (or assembling items specifically) these might not provide you the best outcome. With a little more work you can make them 100 square, have awesome smooth doors and provide electric and lighting without too much trouble. Once fully loaded they seem happy and able to provide a long life of service for me. Ive added a picture of them loaded with the lights as well as a video of how nice you can get the doors to operate with some good grease, few magnets and proper squaring and leveling.
