Im an adult who uses this in a tiny apartment.

I wanted this, and my parents purchased this for me as a gift when I moved into my own apartment. Im 54, 135 / 140 lbs and it holds me without any trouble. I use a stepstool to get up into my bed, solely for ease of use // but the times I do use the rungs attached to the bed, they feel sturdy under my size / weight. Theres no bending or wobbling or signs of any strain. I use a twin/sized memory foam mattress, but there are still 4/5 inches of free space so this bedframe can probably hold an XL/twin mattress. I keep the desk extended at all times. It has enough room to hold my laptop, online video gear (webcam / microphone / lights) plus clock, noisemaker, tissues, etc. and there is still plenty of room left over to hold my plate and drinks when I am eating, or for my textbooks / coursework when Im doing my college work. I have plenty of legroom beneath the desk, too. There is a lot of storage space under the loft bed. I use it to store my winter blankets and some boxes, but there is still a lot of room. I made a little den for my cat in the remaining space, and he has a blast under there. Overall I love this loft bed and Im glad I have it. My only issue is that it came missing some screws / pieces, and there were spots where there werent any holes for the screws at all! I had to get a hammer and nail to make the beginnings of a hole, and forcibly twist the screw into it. There were big scratches on parts of the bed when we unpacked it, too // but I colored them in with a marker so they blend in. Easy build,

    Cheap/O/Gabanzo

Bought 1 year ago for a 8 year old. Took about 5 hours to assemble. The unusually fragile slats the mattress laid on didnt hold up. Weve had to repair them twice using more sturdy materials. The ladder is a half inch on the part you step on, which is very uncomfortable on the feet which are often bare at bedtime. Its pretty but not nearly as practical as it appears. Chips and nicks look very bad and WILL happen. Maybe 500 for the unit isnt a ton of money for some folks, but if it seems like a pretty penny to you then you will find yourself disappointed. Hoped it would at least last a few years. Cheap/O/Gabanzo! Read some reviews stating they plan to send this to college with their kids, HA!!!! First of all disassembly would be a nightmare. Secondly, the bed is not sturdy enough to hold a teenager.

    Great bed!!

Assembly took roughly 3/3.5 hours but well worth it. My kiddo loves it and it fits all that he needs. Highly recommend!! Just fine.

    Okay for price

Expensive but I love the wood finish, color and my son loves his bed. Not recommended for a kid older than 10 years of age. It will not be that durable. As expected.

    decent for the price

while this bed is cheaper than other sets similar it does have its faults. For one its creaky when assembled correctly even when the hardware is tight. Second its not real wood so several of the pieces come with small nicks and scrapes exposing the film of fake wood like stuff of the surface of the MDF board. Overall it looks nice and my son loves it, especially the empty space behind the shelf and drawer unit. He gets under there with a blanket and pillow and uses it as a fort to hide from his sister which is cute and fun. The color is nice and the height of the loft is perfect for my son who sleeps all over the place. The desk however is not convenient. I wanted a loft bed with a desk so my son could use it for his remote learning but Im afraid to even let him pull it out because the guides that hold the surface of the desk on to the bed dont hold the desk very well. If he pulls it out even a little bit uneven it will fall from the guides. Im sure I can ghetto rig it to stay in when he pulls it out but this is what it does with the pre/drilled holes. Adding more holes only makes a flimsy bed even flimsier. If youre looking for a presentable more affordable bed this is the one to go with but if you would like one to be more sturdy and hold up a bit longer try spending a little more money and go with one of better quality. Definitely worth it.

Completely assembled by myself in less than 4 hours

Great product, the bed was a little wobbly until I connected the desk and put the dresser and stuff underneath. Some parts were complicated since I didnt have help but all in all it was a very easy assembly and everything looks great. Good one.

4 hours set up by myself. Happy with the purchase for the price.

Instructions relied on pictures to figure out positions of certain parts. Ended up attaching a piece in the wrong direction more than once. Looks great.

    Solid piece of furniture

Fairly easy (albeit a bit time/consuming) to assemble, quite sturdy, and it has made my younger daughter quite happy. She really likes being able to slide the desk in and out so easily. My only real complaint is that there are some parts that wouldve been better if plywood or solid pine instead of MDF, but theyre not the most critical structural pieces, so that might be a bit nit/picky. Nicely made.

Make sure you pat attention to the desk

Everything was super easy to assemble and put up except the desk. My husband mistakenly drilled into the wrong side and now we have hole on the wrong side lol. Great Value.
