Holds things. Its pretty much as advertised. Easy assembly, sturdy, correct size, and plenty of cross supports. Bonus points for including an actual ratchet tool for assembly instead of the usual crappy little assembly tool you get with most products. That made assembly much quicker and easier.
However, as noted and pictured, the cover didnt fit. It wasnt even close. It was a few inches away from being able to be zipped with both my wife and I pulling it as tightly as possible. It just wasnt going to fit. We just covered the frame with a flat king size sheet and let it hang over and that covered the frame and actually looks decent, so not a huge deal, but still would be nice if the cover that came in the same box as the frame actually fit it.
Great price and somewhat durable. This is a super great buy. It was relatively inexpensive, was delivered to my house, and easy to put together. Recommend putting it together in the room you will be using it if you purchase the king size. Very sturdy/ supports my hybrid mattress well.

I feel like this is a fantastic box spring alternative and I love the fact it comes shipped in a box. Setup was easy as heck. Another reviewer complained about getting the cover on, but I did it alone and just followed the diagram. Super easy to do. I bought a Casper box spring as well for my other bed and its 250. This one does the job for less. I like the Casper one more because its more wood and fabric, but its way pricier.

After reading reviews, I decided to assemble this inside the cover, from reading that getting the cover on alone was difficult. I put all the sides and cross pieces together inside the cover. Then I put this assembly on the bed and slipped in the cross pieces, making it easier to carry with less weight. The cover zipped up easily and voila! an aming box spring.
