This is an exceptionally solid frame and doesnt make a sound. Bed frames Ive had in the past always creaked. Not this one! It was also priced much better than other frames I looked at. Only thing is that I originally wanted to get the dark grey colour, but it was 3x the price of the lighter grey at the time of purchase. But it was easy to put together and Im happy overall.
The King frame was heavy to move. It comes as one piece in a big flat rectangular box with all the components cleverly zippered into the back of the headboard. Once inside the house we took all the components out downstairs and moved the pieces upstairs from there. Assembly was easily done by one person it even comes with a ratcheting tool and extra bolts were supplied. I think assembly took me about 40 minuets. The quality is excellent and heavy duty there is nothing flimsy about this product! We have had it over a month now and can say we have nothing to complain about this totally silent solid great looking bed frame. We worried about quality at the price we paid compared to the chain stores we shopped at but at the price its a bargain. We shopped around and you will definitely pay more for an inferior product at the chain stores. It replaced a solid maple queen sleigh bed it fits right in and does not look out of place with an high end bedroom set.
