Perfect sized nightstand! I bought this for my son and he really loves it. The nightstand looks very nice. Initially, I was worried that it would rip easily or lighter items would be difficult to balance on a padded surface, but he has not had any problems at all. This came fully assembled. The drawers open and close smoothly, and he reported no funny smells or other issues with the nightstand.
