I love the look of this frame. However weve been using this bed for a little over a year now and have run into some trouble. The frame bends! In additions to the 4 leg posts from the head board and foot board, there are three leg supports. One for the center of the bed and one on each of the longer sides of the bed. Unfortunately, they should have added another two supports for the middle of the shorter sides. The frame in the middle of the headboard/footboard end of the bed have bent inward, causing our mattress to sag in the middle significantly. We arent huge people (150 lbs and 220 lbs) I expected this frame to be able to support our weight. As the frame bends more and more the bed gets squeakier as well. I have liked this frame, good adjustable height, look and price, but I would recommend adding your own extra supports if you want to use this long term.
I love this bed! It literally took me 4 and a half hours to take apart my old wooden IKEA bed and put this bed together including the heavy memory foam mattress and bedding. Its sturdy and at the same time lightweight. I can actually pick it up from the footboard and it pushes quite easily over my laminate flooring. It came with 2 sets of legs, a tall set, and a short set if you prefer the frame lower to the ground. I opted for the taller legs which are probably 12 inches. Shipping was fast and got here on time. I have already recommended this bed to a few of my friends. Nice size.
I needed a platform bed, the more I looked read reviews, I was going to get a linen platform bed, but the reviews on wood slats, were not worth the headache. I went with this bed, it is perfect, it is not overwhelming for my bedroom, I, being disabled, freinds of mine, Husband Wife put it together with no problems, the bed is sturdy, the headboard footboard do not wobble, and with slates, the durability is a big plus, it gives the room a cozy warm feeling, I do, recommend this bed !!! Overpriced a bit.
The quality here is not all that great but I still cant figure out how they make a bed frame at this low price point. It looks nice enough. I did have to reassemble it at the lower configuration. This really wasnt intended for box springs so be aware of that when assembling. It feels solid and doesnt creek but it looks flimsy. Id recommend ma some extra supports. This replaced a very bulky frame in my house and made the room feel much larger and more open. Highly recommend just dont fool yourself into thin youre getting much more than you paid for Easy to fix.
