Bench is made of actual wood and not cheap press board like most others. It is a bit smaller than I would have liked, but was very easy to put together with decent instructions and came with at least 1 extra of every screw and bolt. This item would get 5 stars but they dont show a picture of the back which has large open slits in it, I would have preferred it to be solid like the front so that bugs and such cant get in as easily.
Overall for the price I would say it was a good buy.

We are impressed by the quality and love that it is REAL wood not pressed board. Everything lined up perfectly and it looks beautiful in our bedroom. Not only do we gain some storage but now we have a place to sit down and put on our shoes. We are amazed at the quality for the price.

It was what I needed and a good deal Im a little confused at some of the reviews that said it was hard to put together and that the instructions were bad. I told my wife that this was the easiest piece of furniture Ive ever put together. Everything was clearly labeled including all the hardware and was surprisingly sturdy when fully assembled. It is small like others have said but look at the dimensions people and measure to see if this is the right fit for your application! Would highly recommend this storage bench as you cant beat the price and great looks of it!
