This is an excellent bed for the price. We are replacing a more typical box spring and underlying frame with this unit (so: no box spring with the new setup). We built it at the high setting (which also allows for under/bed storage).
Note: In construction, the headboard and footboard are identical pieces, but there are risers that fit on the headboard end to lift it up. This is not ideal visually, but works fine.
Pros:
1. Sturdy // Doesnt wobble at all when jumping onto the bed
2. Silent // At least comparatively to our squeaky box spring, doesnt make any noise when tossing and turning
3. Supportive/Firm // Currently being used without a box spring and offering more support than our box spring did. The bed feels firmer now (which could be a pro or a con depending on your preference, for us personally its a pro).
4. Is aesthetically pleasing.
Cons:
1. It was a little tricky to assemble, in terms of what goes where it is incredibly straight forward, but I had some issues fitting the sub/assemblies together. I had to go back and unscrew some things to fit the sub/assemblies together and then screw them back together.
Other:
The mattress we use for this bed is very thick and we have foam on top of that, even. On the high setting for this bed, the mattress is taller than the foot board. With a very high mattress, it might work better using the lower height setting.
Perfect addition to our basent bedroom. We are working to make it THE place for kids sleepovers.
We have metal frame bunks down there and this adds the right next thing. Now adult guests can stay more comfortable down there as well.
Shaping up nicely with this easy to assemble bedframe.
This is a beautiful, sturdy bedframe that was relatively easy to put together. Its well built and has a modern look that matches all the rest of the furniture in my bedroom. The quality is too notch and the bed is much prettier in person than in the picture.
Does not hold up well to two slender, active humans. Steel support bar bent and cracked in a few months. Currently supporting this bed with stacks of bricks until the manufacturer responds to my email regarding its one year manufacturer warranty. It has been several weeks without reply. Not a bed for active people. For motionless sleeping only perhaps.
The bed looks nice, and it is pretty stable. The headboard and footboard come assembled, so you dont have to worry about putting all those rods in place. This is where the convenience stops, however. This bed frame does not work like many other where you simply unfold the base in two parts and connect them together with bolts. This one comes in multiple parts that you must connect to each other, then connect to other parts, then connect stabilizing legs, then attach the headboard and footboard. This is not where the assembly stops though. You must put each of the support slats into place individually, then secure them with plastic clips. Other frames I have seen simply have everything built in, and you just unfold the sides. This one will definitely take you at least 30 minutes to an hour to assemble.
The footboard is a bit short, so it is not as nice looking as it could be. I would actually prefer it if both the headboard and footboard were about three inches higher.
We spent months finishing the basement to banish our teen girls to and they chose these beds. Love them.. and the kids are alright too. My 17 y/o and I put them together with out a single argument and I only managed to misplace my $120 cutco scissors which Im pretty sure I threw out. Anywho... beds are super sturdy and made well. Easy to put together and love the height options.
Only have had it a few days, but it seems really sturdy, and I really like the style of it. Only wish that we were able to purchase in black, so much easier to match black, but the gray we have is pretty. Took a bit for my husband to put up, over an hour, and though it comes with tools needed, you can also use a power drill if you have. Overall really pleased with this purchase.
Updated review: This was fairly easy to put together and looked nice, BUT the materials are poor quality. The bed frame started falling apart after about one year.

This bed met all my expectations! It was simple to put together. The color is exactly as described. It fits perfectly in our bedroom.
NEVERMIND
Did not last 2 years. Purchased the warranty and I tried to use it. Month with no response.
Easy and looks sharp
