This bed frame is very pretty. The wood is very heavy and sturdy. The corners of the frame after assembly are extremely sharp so be careful. You may need to file the point down. I cut my leg pretty deep on the edge. I filed them down and I put clear corner protectors on it so the kids wouldn’t get hurt.
We LOVE this bed. Its easy enough to put together and is so sturdy. It matches the wood on my MCM dresser perfectly and looks much more expensive than it was. The mattress doesnt slide around at all, although there is no lip holding it in place, the slats and the sticky strips are more than enough to keep it in place. The slats are securely fastened to the frame, so no more sliding and breaking like its IKEA counterpart. This bed was a wonderful investment without the huge up-front cost. I wish they made matching nightstands! I will definitely order from this company again.
Quick seamless delivery. Husband and I were able to assemble it in less than 2 hours (with me being 6 months pregnant, I didn’t need to do any heavy lifting), instructions were quite straightforward. We’ve used it for about 2 weeks now and so far so good; I will say though that there have been times where the bed will make slight one-off creaks when shifting weight in bed. But hasn’t been too noticeable.
I’ll report back if things change.
Not sure why people mentioned it was hard to assemble in the reviews.. the instructions have images and each one is labeled. I watched the short 30 second video on how to assemble it and it was honestly very easy. The only thing I would say is you may need a second person when laying down the slats. It looks great! The color is exactly what I was looking for and I’m happy with my purchase. Definitely would recommend to anyone who is iffy about it!
Great great value for the money! We wanted to be done with our box spring and this platform frame was a great way for us to do it! The instructions were very clear and easy to follow. At one point we did have to take apart the foot board from the rest of it to flip it around, just took some patience. Once all together it has been very sturdy! And no squeaking!! We have stunned our toes a couple times on the side legs buut that’s our bad. The corners are pretty sharp also.
Was delivered without all the hardware. Very dissatisfied, we break the box before check all the parts where included. We don’t know how can we send back?
There’s 4 pieces that is wrong in the directions. I think piece K and J are switched and L and M are switched. I might be wrong on letters but yeah they are wrong. Very sturdy and nice for the price. All pieces were there. Didn’t give any extra screws just in case one was messed up. The color is a little darker than what is shown in the photos as well. The color is close to a dark walnut.
1. The color is not what shown in the image which I would say the common thing buying online.
2. The material is lower quality compare to Ikea. The bed frame stripes is visible low quality, i hope this lasts at least 3 years.
3. The assembly, not easy when it comes down to laying the bed frame stripes.
4. One of the hex key was missing. Good that we have a set at home.
5. The frame size is also not correct width wise. It came about 2” off.
6. Seems like the piece set in the warehouse for long. The plastic bags in which screws came in show aging sign as well as the screws. It could be the type of material used.
Not returning just to avoid hassle of boxing it. Got for daughter’s room who will be in college in next 3 years so keeping it for 3 years. Ikea furniture is better compare to this.
