The bed is fantastic, my kids love it. We did have to add something to make the feet feel less uncomfortable, but it was easy to fix.
One note that I did not expect and is not a fault of this particular loft bed, but picture your kid getting sick with the flu. If your child is not of the age that they could clean up their own vomit, you may want to rethink the whole loft situation. Also hard to climb in and out of if you have the flu.

Perfect for my just shy of 8 ceilings / I upgraded my son to his own room and a full size bed and he was delighted. He is almost 14 and approx 59 and 140lbs. Because of how small the room is and centrally located ceiling fan I ended up looking for a smaller diameter fan and found an awesome caged fan with Edison bulbs that elevated the room renovation considerably so that was a happy accident because otherwise the bed kind of overlapped the fan and was kinda dangerous.
After painting, new furniture, and new carpet I surprised my son and he was speechless!
This is the perfect price and size for my sons room. Hes in middle school has the occasional sleep over. Great for putting a love seat, desk, or even double bed underneath. Easy assembly easily to move. Did not disappoint
This loft made my small bedroom into a much more comfortable and spacious room. The set up was easy and took only a couple hours and the help of one other person. I bought a staircase for my loft bed, as the attached ladders were uncomfortable getting up and down. Good Quality for Cost
Just got it assembled and looks great. It does help to have two people, tight fit on top with full size mattress .We did not need a bunk board. You might ,if you only dont want to see the mattress or sheets. The bottom is a very wide opening, I have one 16 yr old on top and my 15 yr old under in a queen size bed with room for a small night stand on the side. They love it. Great for space savor . Im glad I bought it. Pay attention to the pictures!

These barely lasted two months. Dont waste your time or money.
