Wow, we were impressed when we opened the box. Solid wood and hardware. Put together in less than ten minutes. Love the espresso finish. So much better in person than the sellers pictures! Perfect platform bed. Awesome!
The product description fit the product very well. I ordered two full size for each one of my children and so far the bed has been great! I was able to assemble by myself using little help from my children. HAPPY!!
My boyfriend is a carpenter and put the bed together so that could be different for someone with no background. The bed looks great. Had my mattress on it with no box spring and height was great. There is a middle metal bar with three legs for sturdiness with wooden slats that Velcro to the frame. I wish the slats were stronger as the wood is pretty thin. The thickness of the wooden frame is great tho! My bedroom floor is wood and bows down in the middle of the room and the middle leg was taking a lot of the pressure bec the other two legs on middle bar were not touching the floor bec of the bow. The bed does slide a little on wood so would recommend some non stick pads. I would push my bed toward the wall once a week or so and it bent the middle metal leg. The hole the screw was in warped so now we need to fix it and figure out how to make the other middle outer legs touch the floor so all the pressure isnt on only the middle. The bed was not noisy. Good price.
