It was so easy to assemble, and they send you extra nuts, bolts, etc in case some are missing, but none were. Its good quality. The wood could be package slightly better as there are some very, very minor cosmetic defects from the wood rubbing against each other, probably while shipping. It can easily be fixed with a light brown sharpie, however. Its solid wood, not particle board. I would buy pet steps if you have pets that struggle to get on the bed so their nails dont scratch it. Because it is real wood, sharp things, like pet nails will scratch it. It sits slightly lower than normal beds. I like that though because psychologically the closer we sleep to the ground the more sound our sleep it (bet you didnt know that). I think it will match well with all dark wood types. I highly recommend this bed frame! Just as seen in the picture!!!
Okay, the pieces do not all fit. That round flat bit (sorry Im not sure the name of the piece) you put under a screw does not fit. Its too big, but once I realized this and just didnt use that piece everything went together well. Very durable.
So far so good. Love the color. At first it has that smell of the varnish. They handled it well, my bed didnt get any scratches. It is so easy to assemble. My husband who has a bad back assembled it himself. Very good value.

I usually dont write reviews but wanted to be helpful for anyone looking for a good bed for a really good price. Having a king bed, finding a bed/headboard for a decent price under 600 was very difficult. Assembly was extremely easy, barely needed the instructions. The only reason why I didnt give it a full 5stars was because of the few scuffs scratches on the wood, but I was lucky that they were in places that could not be seen after assembly. Overall, Im pretty happy with this purchase for the budget I was on. Do the work.

Good for the price
I like this bed. Its a little firm for me but overall good value. Im glad I didnt pay 1500 for a mattress at the store. Fair for the price.
