Very comfortable chair for a big person

As a person whos 6 4 and about 270 pounds, I wanted a chair that was advertised as being built for larger people. This chair fits that purpose nicely. Assembly took about 30 minutes and, if you follow the directions to not tighten the bolts on the bottom until the arms are attached, you shouldnt have too much difficulty with getting the arms on. So far the lower back support seems nice and the chair is fairly comfortable to sit in. The seat padding is firm but not uncomfortable. After youve been using the chair for a few weeks, flip it over and re/tighten the bolts on the bottom. Be careful not to strip them, but I noticed that mine had worked their way out a bit after the chair had been used. Tighten the ones at the back underneath diagonally (in an X pattern, not side by side) and then the front. Dont overtighten or strip the threads, just make them snug. Theres a few creaks and groans with the chair but its sturdiness seems good so far. I typically break chairs in two to three years due to my weight and plopping down in them and so far this one has withstood my typical abuse.

    Very comfortable

Chair is very comfortable. I had recently purchased a different chair and quickly found out it hurt my back after just an hour or so. Once I received this chair I was able to return to long hours at my desk. Chair is wide and deep but not too bulky. Perfect for me. The wood is a nice touch as well.

    Absolutely a great buy!!

Such a comforatble, yet heavy duty chair. The wood grain design accents are beautiful and make it look elegant and dressy for a nice office. So good, we bought 2.one in the cherry and one in this ivory color!

THIS IS JUST AVERAGE OR LESS

The material is good quality / the support from the chair is well below average and the adjustments do not provide enough change in the support. There are definitely much better chairs in this price point.

    Comfortable

Very comfortable and nice looking. Fairly easy to put together. Im a 63 year old woman, fairly fit and put it together by myself for my husband that just had surgery.

    Comfortable but Not Supportive

LOOKS: Attractive enough for any home office. We bought it in gray, and for those wondering, the wood accents on the gray chair are definitely walnut in our case. (It looks like the black chair has cherry wood.) But its not as attractive as it is in the marketing image. The back of the chair is more mottled than the rest of it, and the gray bonded leather feels more like vinyl. The wood accents are not warm, high/gloss walnut stain on nicely grained wood, theyre darker with no discernable grain markings and have more of a satin finish at best, much cheaper looking in person. HEIGHT/SIZE: As it says, this is definitely made for very big and tall humans. We added our own wheels, so our chair sits about an inch higher than as shipped. With that in mind, the shorter of us is on tip toes when the chairs set at its highest. COMFORT: Well cushioned with a good deal of padding, especially at the front of the seat where it curves over. This is great for blood circulation in the legs (it does not cut it off at all if your feet are flat on the floor). This is the best part of the chair for us so far. Two tall/large humans are using this chair (one is 63 and 285, the other is 511 and 250), and while the top back of the chair supports the shorter persons head, its more of a neck hit for the taller of us. SUPPORT: We both find the seat to be too deep to support our backs at all when sitting properly (upright) and working/typing, and theres no way to adjust that. While we could see in the marketing images that the back was slanted, we had no idea just how much, and assumed there was a way to adjust the pitch of the chair, but we assumed wrong. The lower back of the chair does not even touch either of our backs when we sit up straight, and the lumbar adjustment knob doesnt help, even when tightened to max. Your back is only supported when you recline. Lastly, the arms are stationary, and just like the lumbar bits, the arms are only truly supportive when you lean back. Shipping and assembly were fine/okay, but we cant recommend this chair to people who spend a lot of time in chairs and who need good back/lumbar support to get through the work day. Well amend this review if things break or change drastically before the 1/year warranty expires.

    Excellent all around!

Ive always used old computer chairs that were handed down from family members, or cheap ones, but let me tell you, this one is beyond worth the money. Assembly Time: 30 minutes / Took me some time to ensure I was following directions to a tee and making sure every hole I used was the right one. Assembly Difficulty: 2/10 / Hard to do alone somewhat, but really for a chair it wasnt bad at all. Comfort: 10/10 / I can FINALLY stretch my legs out. Let me tell you guys, if youre 61 or around that height like me, this chair will make you feel like you were neglecting your leg space for years. Even on the lowest setting im sitting around a slightly above 90 degree angle. You can have your chair prop you up perfectly, as well as great back and bottom support with the cushioning. Features: 9/10 / I only mark this down a little because as far as a computer chair, it doesnt go back too much, maybe looking at around a 30/45 degrees of lift from sitting position, but the lock mechanism is perfect, the handle is easy to use and quiet, and the lumbar support is out of this world! Aesthetics: 9/10 / Only a slight mark down on this because reigons of the chair that you wont see (Under the wheels, under the seat behind the clamp) have slight wood chips, but these arent visible unless you actually search for them. Otherwise feels great and doesnt look too old man/ish, while still maintaining a great executive and comfortable feel. Overall, Im giving this a 9/10. The complains I have arent much, but they are there. Excellent buy imo.
